Congratulations! You’ve made it to Friday without having to be dug out of a collapsed TBR pile! Do you have a mountain range now? Kind of hard not to if you have been visiting every single blog who is participating. It’s a chilly, rainy day. Perfect for a cozy fire in the fireplace, a warm blanket, and a good book. Oh, do you want a hot drink too? I have tea, cider, and hot chocolate. And the chocolate chip cookies will be out of the oven shortly.
If you are new, here’s the basic rundown. Check out my books. Visit the blogs on my team. Head over to Kate’s blog (link on a cute image below) to find her books, and then set off on a bookish adventure to all the other teams and blogs and watch your TBR stack grow!

This genre makes me sigh with delight. I love to reread my favorite books. Sometimes I reread the entire book, other times I just read favorite parts, or skim most of the story. No matter how I do it, however, it always gives me a happy feeling and makes me smile. Books were meant to be read over and over and loved and read again and shared. So, let me share just a few books that I reread over and over.

Dark Sunshine
by Dorothy Lyons
My mom recommended this book to me quite a few years ago and I fell in love with Blythe, Dan, “Also” and of course Dark Sunshine. There is so much heart in this story! And it’s so much more than just a horse book. It’s a book with life, family, love, dreams, and plain hard work.

Scout
by Julie Nye
I’ve read, reread, and re-reread this books and parts of this book until I can quote some of it. There is excitement, fun, love, danger, and a whole lot of Scout! Perfect for any age.

A Brother Beloved
by Francena Arnold
This isn’t a romance. Yes, a bit of romance happens, but that’s not the theme of the book. It’s family. It’s learning to trust God even when you don’t see, don’t understand, and don’t have a clue what to do next. It’s about friendship and hope even when your world turns upside-down.

Sensible Kate
by Doris Gates
Yes, this is yet another story about a foster girl. Yes, I’ve read, and reread it. Yes, it’s still just as good every single time. Oh, Kate! I just love her! So sensible and when she’s not sensible, she’s not for sensible reasons.

Three People
by Isabella Alden (Pansy)
One of my favorite books by my favorite author. I’m not sure what it is about this story that first grabbed my heart and made me fall in love with it. But stories of people who have their lives changed by Christ and who then work for Him, are ones I really like. This is one of those stories. Yes, it is also a temperance story.
I could have shared a dozen more books that I pull off my shelf and reread, but I decided I’d be good. I didn’t even share any series today! Some books that I reread I mentioned on other days.
Giveaway Time!
You do NOT want to miss this year’s giveaway! We will have two winners this year since we have so many bloggers! So be sure you get your entries in. Some you can do every day.

I have to know, do you reread books? Or are you a “read it once, don’t need to read it again” sort of person? Do you ever skim favorite parts of books? What is one of your favorite books to reread?

I definitely want to read Three People ☺️!
Oh, you should! It’s a favorite in case you hadn’t noticed. 😉
I haven’t read any of this, but A Brother Beloved looks good!
Yay! I’m sharing books that someone doesn’t know about! 😀 I hope you can read A Brother Beloved. It’s so good.
*accepts hot chocolate and cookie gratefully* These look so sweet! Added all of them to my TBR. Except Three People. Because it’s already one of my top favourite books, and I’m already rereading it right now. 😉
Also, I like that you also just skim or read over favourite parts sometimes for a reread! I do that a lot.
I figured someone might be needing a snack after all these books! Yay for growing your TBR! Oh, you’re reading Three People right now? How fun! And yep, there are times I’m just not in the mood to start a book and so I skim some of my favorites. 😀
Mostly just skimming parts. It’s been a couple years since I last read it, and I was missing it. 😁
Yes, and it can help so much when you don’t really feel like reading anything!
That’s okay to just be skimming it. Maybe you are just biding time until the FFF is over and you can dive into new books!
Three People is outstanding! I love the author too!
I have read a book or two by Francena Arnold and am not sure if it was A Brother Beloved.
Thank you for this list. There is no way I will ever run out of books to read and re-read!
Another Pansy lover! Yay! <3
Francena Arnold is best known for her book Not My Will, but she wrote several others that I actually like better.
You're very welcome! I know what you mean. So many books!
And my TBR grows again…At least I’ve already read Three People, so I don’t need to add that one!
Well, that’s a relief. Only four books to add instead of 5. And I didn’t recommend any series today, so that helps too. 😉
THREE PEOPLE!!!! <3 <3 <3 I'm fairly sure all of these are already on my TBR because of you, lol.
<3 Most likely. I have shared them all before. :D At least your TBR can rejoice.
Sensible Kate sounds right up my alley. 🙂
Oh, I hope you can find a copy and read it. It’s just delightful!
These are all new to me. Added most of them to the good ol’ TBR.
I hope you enjoy them!
I have a feeling Isabella Alden may be an author I look out for 😀
Oh, you should! If you’ve never read her books, you can get some for free on the Isabella Alden website https://isabellaalden.com/
Ooooo yay!!! 😀 Thank ya!
