Welcome to the Read Another Page Reading Challenge!

What would a blog with a title like Read Another Page be without reading challenges?
I don’t know about you, but reading challenges have made me read many more books than I usually do. And some are even ones I wouldn’t have picked up otherwise. So let’s challenge ourselves with some reading this year! This will be the 4th year I’ve hosted a reading challenge on my blog. And each year has been different. This year is no exception. Are you ready to join?
The challenge starts on January 1st and ends on June 30.
This year’s challenge is all books on your To Be Read stack
First the rules because what’s a challenge without rules?
- These books may be read in any order. You do NOT have to start at the top and read down.
- You may count any books you read for this challenge for other challenges if you wish.
- In order for your books to count they must be read in 2021 between January 1 and June 30.
- Unless indicated all books must be at least a few chapters in length. (Even two or three chapters, but they must have chapters!)
- This challenge starts January 1st, and ends June 30th 2021. Any books read during that time count.
- ALL books read MUST be on your TBR (To Be Read) list before January 1st.
Earning Points:
To earn points you can read book, write reviews, and invite friends to join the challenge. Here is how it works.
Once you’ve read your first 4 books (whatever 4 those happen to be) you will get your first Point. After that, it will be as follows:
- Read 4 books = 1 point
- Every 2 books read after that = 1 point
- Review 4 books = 1 point
- Every 2 books reviewed after that = 1 point
- For every friend who joins (and mentions your name), you will get a point after they have read their first 4 books.
Now let’s get started!
To sign up simply send me an email and let me know you’re joining. (If a friend told you about the Reading Challenge, make sure you mention their name to me when you join so they get credit.) I’ll add your name to the Reading Companions page. (You can use the Contact form if you do not already have my email address.)
When you’ve read a book (or more than one if you’d rather) comment on this 2021 Reading Challenge Page and I’ll mark you down for those books.
Ready for that list yet?

Great! And thanks for the right link. That always helps. π
No problem!!
Haven’t got my review up for my next read yet, but I’ll be coming back and commenting soon!
Quick question, though – if I’m reading a collection of three novellas, published together in a paperback but listed (and, for me, reviewed) separately on Goodreads, does it count as one or three? Goodreads lists both options. They’re all long enough to be a few hours on audiobook and they have chapters – but they were originally published in one book.
If each of the stories has a few chapters and is also published separately, you can count them as 3 books even if they are all together. As long as all 3 books were on your TBR list before January. π Great question.
Great, thank you!

Great job! I’ll get these all added for you.
And #7 can be an ebook. I just used the term “kindle” because that was easier. π
Okay, great! I have a few Isabella Alden stories I might be able to choose from. π

Haha, thanks! I’m reading them both now. I decided not to read the ones I had planned and to go for something else after all, lol π
I did that with a few books. And some books I started and decided I didn’t like them enough to continue so I got rid of them. π At least it made my TBR stack shorter. For a little while. π
Haha, yes! There were a few books that have been in my shelf for 5 or more years; I looked at them after drawing up a list of books for this challenge and decided that they could go, as not even this could make me get round to reading them! So now that annoying section of my shelf is almost non-existent π
Yay! It feels good when you get rid of books you haven’t read and finally realize you aren’t ever going to read. π
