The Five Fall Favorites!
Seven years ago, my writing and blogging friend, Kate Willis, made a suggestion that we have a fall party about books on our blogs. It sounded fun to me, so we jumped into planning the first ever Five Fall Favorites! We had so much fun and learned a lot that year. One thing we learned was that readers like to find more books to read. π
For the next two years, Kate and I hosted the FFF and had a wonderful time!
Then Kate had to drop out.
I took over the party and asked Sarah Holman to join me in planning things like genres. Sarah did it with me for two years before she had other things (like getting married π ) interrupt her ability to help, so Erika Mathews joined me last year.
This year, however, it’s going to be a little different as you might guess from the invitation above. I decided I needed to step away this year and focus on other things. I thought the FFF was just going to die, but that was not the case. My co-founder, Kate, over at Once Upon An Ordinary, is picking up the party again and taking it through its 7th year! There will be some changes, but it’s still 6 days of books and genres! You won’t want to miss it!
(hint: One of my books is going to be Free one of the days.)
While I can’t host the party this time and decided not to try to even be one of the party rooms, I am looking forward to attending it! Will you going me?
By the way, if you have a blog and are interested in being a part of this year’s Five Fall Favorites, go HERE and fill out the short form to let Kate know.
Have you ever attended the FFF? What is something you have loved about the Five Fall Favorites? Do you have a favorite genre?

Oh, I was thinking this would be coming up soon!! *is sad to hear you’ll be dropping out* π’ Do you plan on coming back to it next year?

At this point I have no idea about next year. I’ll be attending it this year, but I know Kate is going to do a great job! I mean she was one of the co-founders of it. π

Yay! I’m so looking forward to this again!

I’ve seen FFF on your blog and others as a past event, but this is the first year that I’m actively following a blog during FFF. It looks fun! I’ll have to remember this and try to attend some of the party. π Especially if one of your books is going to be available!
I couldn’t comment on your story blog last week (it seems to randomly say “error” when I try to post.), so here’s your comment from that: Yay, I got this through my email! That was nice. π I enjoyed reading your update on your week. In case you’re interested, I read that first and then the story. Have to go in order, you know. π Fun story and way to learn about history by writing those! If I could experience a little bit of historical time, I would probably want pioneering time or the 50’s. You?
My week has been really good! I feel like I made a lot of lists. haha. But I got some projects and timing of things figured out, so that was nice. Another thing is that I published my first children’s book (about 45 pages)! I ordered 30 copies and have sold half of them so far. I’m wanting to be a witness for God through my writing so it’s very exciting for me. π

I hope you can attend the FFF this year, Chloe. π
My Friday blog seems to be very odd about letting comments work. I don’t know what its problem is. π But thanks for your comments now. π
Nice to know you read things in order. π I have no idea when I’d want to visit.
That’s exciting to have a children’s book published! Good job!

By the way, I changed a setting so the comments show up in a pop-up window. I think some people said that worked better for them? If it still gives you problems, let me know.
Chloe says
Okay, thanks for letting me know. I’ll see how it works friday. π

Thanks so much for hosting FFF for the past seven years, Rebekah! I started visiting the party about a year or so ago and I enjoyed seeing the different featured books. Can’t wait to join this year! π

You’re welcome, Lillian. I’m glad you enjoyed it, and I’m sure this year will be just as much fun. π
