I had to share this invitation with you because I’m so excited to be coming back to a full week of the Five Fall Favorites! I’m not hosting it, but I am going to be a part! And picking the books for this year was so much fun! Please note the change of dates! Instead of being the first week of October, it’s the last week in September.
And now just some random updates and things that are coming your way.
The biggest update in my life is that I’ve started working part time for my brother at Light of Faith. It’s been a lot of fun pulling orders, taping boxes, and getting things ready to ship out. So, if you order one of my books from there, you can request it be signed and I’ll be happy to do it. This is what my books look like all on racks together. Well, almost all. He is missing at least 3 of them. Pop quiz: Can you figure out which books he doesn’t have here?
Pretty fun, huh? How many do you have? Oh, and by the way, if you are in the area, you are welcome to stop by the “shop” (as my nieces and nephews call it) and buy some books. Saves on shipping! And if I’m there, I’d love to meet you!
So, what is coming your way? Well, I already mentioned the Five Fall Favorites.
- Release of Another Homewood Christmas
- Tips on creating realistic goals
- Registration for the November KDWC
- Hopefully the audio of By Paths Unknown
- Writing Camp!
- Hopefully a Black Friday Indie sale
- Release of this year’s Christmas Collection story Christmas in the Same Country
- 24-Books-before Christmas posts
- The end of 2023!
- Hopefully the publication of Heroes Without Capes
And that’s just a glimpse of what’s coming. On the writing front I’m working on 4-6 different stories of varying lengths. And I have at least 2 more stories waiting in the wings for their turn on the stage. Or at least their turn to get written. And yes, Katie Wood is one of them.
What are you most looking forward to this fall/winter? Okay, you can have more than one thing. Are you planning on attending the Five Fall Favorites? What stories do you think I’m working on writing? What are some of your plans for the rest of this year?

Where is the Light of Faith store located? I would love to stop in if I get the chance.

It’s on the outskirts of a small town named Alba, but it’s about 20 minutes from Joplin. In the Show-Me State. 😉
Abigail says
Thank you!

Oops! It said it didn’t load my comment (apologies if it uploads twice lol.)
I knew you wrote a lot of stories, but I never realized how many! That’s so cool to see them all up on the shelf (as for which three are missing, you got me there XD.)
Alas, I live way over on the West Coast, but if I ever travel back east again, I’d love to come visit and say ‘hi’.

Don’t worry, it’s only showing up once here. 🙂
Yeah, seeing all my books in one place is rather strange. I really wrote that many? (He’s missing Summer Light, Finding Home, and Tidings Bringing–which he doesn’t have any copies of yet.)
Well, if you do ever come this way, let me know!
Lillian-Keith says
Ah, those ones! He’ll need more shelves then for you future books too!

Yep. 😀 I just need to get more people to buy my books from him. 😉 Then I can sign them and maybe even pulled them for shipping.
