It’s been a while since I’ve given you an update on my writing progress. You might hear how many words I’ve written in a month, but that doesn’t exactly tell you what I was writing or how my stories are coming.
Yearly Goal:
My goal this year has been to write 20k words a month. That hasn’t happened, but I did figure out that I could still write the same number of words since there were months when I wrote more than 20k. So that’s what I’m going for. Right now I need fewer than 15k words in the next 3 months to reach that goal. I have a feeling I just might go over it.

- Short Stories – Anything goes
No goal and who knows what the progress is - Stories that are on hold like Kelsey, my Rhode Island Story, and my Triplets story have no set length or they are just not edited, or I don't know what comes next and haven't worked on it for a while so I can't give you any progress.
- Random – File of random started stories
I don't have goals for these stories. They might get worked on eventually. Perhaps. Maybe.
That's what I have going on. I switch from story to story and back again. Sometimes one story is going really well and other day I get an idea for a different story and work on it. When are these stories going to get done? I don't know. Currently The Red Heart Cafe has been moving. I hope it keeps going and I can reach the end.
Ideas:
- Sequel to "Nan's Ice Cream Shop" –
- More "Homewood" stories – I have 3 ideas for these
- A Pro-Life story –
Those are all stories I'd like to start and work on, but . . . I haven't done it. Not sure if that's a good thing or not. What do you think?
If you got to pick 3 stories for me to write, finish, and publish soon, which would they be? Would you like to know more about any of them? Which story would make you most excited to see published?

*hands Auntie a basket of motivational chocolate* You’re doing great!!!
Top three – hm. Katie, obviously. 😉 And then Baby Hope. And a prolife story, if a non-current project counts. 😉

Somehow I guessed Katie would be on that list. Oh, Baby Hope. And yes, you can include a non-current project on your list. 😉

I’m voting Katie Wood, Baby Hope, and A Place to Call Home. Though I don’t know too much about the last two. Guess that’s part of why I’d like to see them finished. ;P I like stories about family and fostering.
