Winner, New Story, and Camp

July 3, 2018 by readanotherpage 2 Comments

Reading Challenge Winner!

After 6 months of reading, it’s time to announce the giveaway winner for Read Another Page’s first ever Reading Challenge giveaway! And that winner is . . .

Rosalyn!

Congratulations! I think you are all winners actually. Several of you mentioned that you hadn’t been reading much until you joined this challenge. Others said that you had forgotten how much fun it was to read. I hope you all enjoyed it. If you haven’t finished all the books in the challenge, feel free to keep working your way through them. If you let me know what you read, I’ll add them to the list. 🙂

I’m planning another Reading Challenge starting in January again, so I hope you’ll come back for it. Until then, don’t stop reading. 🙂

New Story

Since tomorrow is the 4th of July, I wanted to make sure you knew about my July story. I think it’s actually one of my favorite short stories. Does it have something to do with the fact that part of it takes place on the 4th? Maybe.

Honor All Men

Devin Moreland doesn’t smile. Why should he when his home has been vandalized? Things change, however, when Sergeant Sinclair steps in with a 4th of July celebration to remember.

Camp NaNo

Yep, Camp NaNo has started. Of course we’re only 3 days into it, but that’s 3 days. My goal, as of right now, is to write 20k words. I’m hoping they will be on my story, By Paths Unknown, but we’ll see. This month I’m back in my April cabin: Next Door. There is a difference, however. Back in April, the cabin was brand new and we only half filled it. This time it’s full. There isn’t a single empty bed. And I heard the Chatter Box (where I was last year) is full as well. There has been talk of building another cabin Yonder, but I don’t know if is going to happen this year. You see, we’re just collecting writers.

But anyway, I must get back to work. Uh, I mean writing. So long!

And don’t forget to check out the Christmas in July specials!
