1. What’s a memory from this summer that still makes you smile?

To be honest, this summer went by so quickly that I don’t remember much of it. 🙂 It could be the antics of my youngest niece and nephew, it might have been an email I got, or a visit I had. Everything runs together. 🙂

2. Has a stranger made your day before?

Yes, I’m sure someone has, but I’m drawing a blank right now.

3. What is the funniest thing you’ve done in public?

I honestly have no idea! (Who came up with this question anyway? 😉 )

4. Favorite happy-go-lucky song?

Oh, this might take me a few minutes. Hold on . . . Let’s Go Fly a Kite,  Do Re Mi –, and many others that pop into my head at odd moments. Yes, I do have songs that just pop into my head, and yes, I often start singing them.

5. What is something/someone that added a little sunshine to your week?

I had a whole bunch of free audio codes for a dozen of my books that were going to expire and I’ve been giving them away right and left! It’s brought so much sunshine to hear people get excited about free audios. Some have never gotten to read my books so they are excited to finally read/listen to them. Others have read them but want the audios so they can listen to the stories.

6. Sunshine or rain?

That depends on what mood I’m in. I love cloudy, rainy days when I can curl up with a good book and read. I even like to get things done on a rainy day, but if I have too many cloudy days, I don’t function as well and all my motivation to accomplish things disappears. Poof. Gone. So, I like both!

7. What person never fails to get a laugh out of you?

My nieces and nephews. The younger ones say such cute things and make such funny faces I can’t help but laugh. I love you seven kiddos! (With number 8 on the way!)

8. Something you looked forward to about this Autumn season?

The Five Fall Favorites, cooler weather, sweaters, bon fires and s’mores, reading, the changing colors everywhere, apple cider, a longer bike ride with my nieces and nephews, grandpa, dad, and brother, and preparing Christmas stories for December. 🙂

9. Roller skates, skateboard, or bicycle?

How can I decide between roller skates or a bicycle? I used to love doing both with my best friends growing up. But now that my nieces and nephews are getting older we enjoy riding bikes together. Hmm, I just can’t decide. Moving on to the next question.

10. Favorite wildflower?

Indian Paintbrush. Maybe I like them because they are red. I really don’t know, but I love those flowers and have loved them since I was young and first saw them at Prairie State Park.

11. Why is yellow such a happy color, to you? (or, do you agree that it is a happy color?)

Yes, I most certainly do agree that yellow is a happy color. As to why, probably because it speaks of sunshine, and life, sunflowers, lemonade, children, and more.

And there you go. If you want to be tagged, consider it done. Just answer the same questions, and let me know when you post. Or, you can answer the questions here as a comment on this blog.
