Vital Stats and Appearance
Name: Rebekah A. Morris
Nicknames: That depends on who you are. At KDWC I’m usually Auntie or Auntie Bekah or Auntie Rebekah. At home I’m usually Bekah or Bek. My best friends call me something else, and my nieces and nephews have another name for me. And that doesn’t count all the other nicknames I have or have had. Just don’t call me Becky!
Birthday: Spring.
Hair color and length: Brown with hints of red in the sunlight. It’s currently below my shoulders but not to my shoulder blades yet.
Eye color: brown
Braces/piercings/tattoos: None of them.
Righty or lefty: I am a righty.
Ethnicity: American. But if you go back far enough I have some German, some English, and I think some Scottish in me.
Firsts
First novel written: Home Fires of the Great War
First novel completed: Didn’t I just answer this? I mean isn’t written and completed the same thing? *is very puzzled*
Award for writing: I did get a 5 Star from Readers Favorite for His Law is Love.
First publication: Once again it is Home Fires of the Great War. Unless you count Bill and the Redcoats which was “published” in a “newspaper” my brother put out one school year and sent to family.
Conference: As in writer’s conference? None. If we are talking homeschool conference, I have no idea.
Query/Pitch: Haven’t done any of those.
Favorite
Novel (that you wrote): Ha! You want me to pick a favorite of my books? Impossible! Let’s just move on.
Genre: Christian fiction. (This includes historical, mystery, contemporary, and Christmas.)
Author: Isabella Alden
Writing Music: I don’t listen to music when I write. It’s too distracting. But I can listen to classical music while working on blog posts.
Time to Write: Late afternoon and in the evening.
Writing Snack/Drink: Just my water bottle with water. Other drinks and food would mean I wasn’t writing.
Movie: Uh, . . . Well, . . .
Writing Memory: When my grandpa decided he and I should go on a day trip to a tiny town in Kansas called Codell since half of my first novel was set there. We had a good time even if it was super hot and we didn’t see anyone. A little grasshopper hitched a ride with us back to KC. 🙂
Childhood Book: Baby Island, Nancy Plays Nurse, Little Black A Pony.
Currently
Reading: Since I’m getting this post ready about a week ahead, I don’t have a clue what I’ll be reading then. Actually, since it will be the the Primary Elections when this post goes live, I won’t be reading anything as I work the polls.
Writing: Monday’s Mystery, Kate & Kylie, Everything, and other stories.
Listening to: Well, as I work on this post I’m listening to classical music on the radio.
Watching: Huh? I’m writing a blog post and I DON’T watch movies while I write blog posts or books!
Learning: Uh, . . . *wonders if this is supposed to be in the area of writing, or character, or life, or in general?* Oh, I know! I’m learning that NO goal is impossible when you aren’t trying to reach it alone. 🙂
Future
Want To Be Published: Sure. I’d like to be published some day. 🙂 Or did they mean what do I want to publish? How about all my stories. If I can ever get them done.
Indie or Traditional: Indie. I’ve never been very interested in Traditional publishing because I want to have control over my story from start to finish.
Wildest Goal: To someday be able to pay someone else to market my books and do the upkeep for my website!
And there you are! I hope you have enjoyed this post and learning a little bit more about me. If you have a blog and are reading this, consider yourself tagged. Unless of course you have already been tagged with this tag, then it would be kind of silly to do it again.
Did you learn anything new about me? Let me know if you consider yourself tagged and do your own post like this. I’d love to read it.

I find it funny your wildest goal is to be able to get someone to market and upkeep when my wildest goal is to be able to do those things XD XD takes all sorts to make a world, doesn’t it?
I should do this tag…

😀 That is pretty funny. I can do my website, but I’m always a little unsure about it.
Yes, you should do it. 😉

I decided to steal the tag from you. And just posted my answers on my blog. 😉

This was fun! Tags are some of my favorite posts to read. 🙂 I would like to do this one! Since I don’t blog anymore, I might do it for fun with some friends and family sometime. New things I learned about you? That you don’t want to be called Becky. 🙂 That is such fun that you went to Codell! I have a book set in Colorado and would really enjoy visiting those places that I mentioned in my book.
Isabella Alden is becoming one of my favorite authors too. And I liked Nurse Nancy when I was little!

That would be neat if you could go to Colorado and see the places you talk about in your story. 🙂 It just makes everything more real.
Yay! Another Isabella Alden fan!
