Sometimes . . .

April 5, 2016 by readanotherpage 5 Comments

Sometimes I don’t want to write another story.
Sometimes I can’t wait to get started.
Sometimes I wish I could just read my unfinished book instead of having to write it.
Sometimes I just want to go read someone else’s book.

Sometimes I have no desire to write another blog post.
Sometimes I wonder which idea to blog about.
Sometimes I wonder if I should keep this blog going.
Sometimes I feel like I shouldn’t stop.
Sometimes I feel like I’m writing to outer space. (Hello? Hello? Is there anyone out there?)
Sometimes I get lots of wonderful comments.
Sometimes I think I have too many projects.
Sometimes I know I have too many projects! 😉

Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to not have to worry about marketing my books.
Sometimes I can’t wait to learn more about marketing.
Sometimes I wish someone would write these blog posts for me.
Sometimes I think it would be too much work to have others guest post.

Sometimes I can’t think of anything to write.
Sometimes I can’t get my words out fast enough.

Sometimes I want to go do something new and different.
Sometimes I wish things would stay the same.
Sometimes I feel like screaming over all my stories, covers, formatting, marketing, blogging, writing–AHHHHH!
Sometimes I just go read a book.

Sometimes I want to write one book.
Sometimes I feel like writing a different one.

Sometimes I like sharing what I know.
Sometimes I want to run far away and hide.
Sometimes I wish I could get as many reviews as another author. (Maybe 50, 100, 687?)
Sometimes I would settle for just five reviews on each book.
Sometimes I wonder if anyone else feels like I do.
Sometimes I think it’s just me.

What about you? What are some of your “sometimes”? Or is it just me that feels this way? Would you be willing to do a quick survey for me?

I would love to read your comments today, but I’ll be sitting all day long at the polls as an election judge. But you can still leave them and I’ll be happy to read them tomorrow!

Wow, this was too accurate! I love my story on and off until I write "The End", and then I immediately start second guessing its worth. 😉 What kind of survey?

You too? *give huge sigh of relief* I thought I was the only one who had such conflicting feelings. 🙂

The survey would be easy. Mostly about what kinds of blog posts you would like/want to read on this blog. It won't be a long one, I promise. 🙂

Ha, ha! It can get really wild sometimes. That's why I find feedback so valuable because it's real constructive criticism instead of just feelings. 😉

I'd love to do a survey!

You feel that way too? Maybe there is hope that I'm "normal" after all. 🙂

I'm going to try to have the survey ready for next week, but I'm going out of town for the rest of this week and don't know for sure if I'll time to prepare it.
