Today is the day I’ve been waiting for. I’ve wished for this day for years but didn’t go beyond wishing until this January. Then I decided to change from wishing to doing. And now here it is!
I’d like to introduce
My very first (hopefully not last) mini course!
This 6-week course walks you step-by-step through the entire process of self-publishing your own book on Kindle Direct Publishing. It’s something I wished I had when I first started self-publishing. I even offer a bonus lesson that teaches you how to turn your paperback book into a kindle book.
Some of the things covered in this course are:
- Formatting the interior of a paperback
- Getting your cover designed
- The copyright page
- Differences between free and purchased ISBNs
- Setting up your account on KDP
- Ordering a proof copy and what to do with it
- Finalizing your book
- Publishing your paperback book
Not only do you get step-by-step instructions with graphics so you aren’t guessing what I am talking about, but I am also making myself available via email to answer your questions, give suggestions and feedback on covers, further explain things if you are confused, and helping you figure out problems that might arise.
The price (if you want the bonus lesson) will normally be $197.00 but I’m offering a $50.00 discount from now until May 16th. If you are interested, go here to sign up and make your purchase. The first lesson will be sent out the first Monday following your purchase unless you request another day.
It’s not every day that Ria Mitchell can think of a way to tease her brothers and cousins, but when she is left home alone with freshly baked cookies, Ria has an idea she can’t resist.
This is the first story about Ria and the Gang that I wrote. (If you aren’t familiar with Ria Mitchell, she’s in Home Fires of the Great War.) You can get your free copy of this story today and tomorrow.
Did you get your free story? Do you have a story waiting to be published or do you know someone who does? Feel free to share this post with friends and family. If you could get a course on anything writing related, what would you choose?

π Thanks, Leona!

This is so cool! I recently finished publishing a book of my own on KDP (a 30-day devotional book for teen girls titled “The Whispers God Gives”). It was a little tricky (especially when at the last minute and on release day, the site said my cover wouldn’t work), but it’s definitely worth it. π Your course sounds amazing! Oh, and also, I found your book on Amazon last week and read it. It was great! π
Thanks for sharing, and enjoy the rest of your day!! β€

Definitely considering that course, since I’m not KDP yet. Can’t wait to read the story!

I hope you enjoy the story.
Oh, what story are you wanting to publish with KDP? I’d love to help. π
Ryana Lynn says
Eventually, I would like to redo all of my books through KDP, but I really want to do Natty’s Stories through KDP
readanotherpage says
Yay! I think you’d reach a larger audience for Natty’s story if you used KDP.
Cindy Walker says
I hate sounding stupid but what is KDP?
readanotherpage says
KDP is Kindle Direct Publishing.
Amy says
Rebekah, I’m so excited for you! This course sounds awesome. When I get closer to getting ready to publish, I definitely want to do the course.

I will say this was one of the most fun stories I’ve written. I laughed several times in writing it.
