My Writing Timeline – Part 3

February 4, 2025 by readanotherpage 2 Comments

I hope you’ve been enjoying my writing timeline! Today is the last day. Of course it’s not the end of the journey. I have more books in the works and am hoping to publish at least 2-3 this year.

Let’s get back into it, shall we?

2021

January – This marks the first time I had a story published in a collection. The Anything collection is a KDWC publication.

May – I published a short kindle story, Hurray for Newsy Jones.

June – I had another story published in A Very Bookish 4th of July with 3 other authors.
I also published a new pocket book story titled Dancing with Fireflies and released my first hardback book, Christmas Day Joyous, which is a compilation of my first 12 Christmas Collections stories.

July – I released another kindle short story, A Slip on the Ice, and published Phil Wood, book 4 in the Woodbreak series.

October – I published two pocket book stories, Beyond Comfort and Keeping Up Hope, as well as two Christmas Collections books A Little Christmas Gift and Because of a Christmas Tree.
I also published an abridged version of Keeping Up Hope in another KDWC Anthology, Hope.

November – Released My Best Thanksgiving as a kindle story.

December – Published a new Christmas Card story, 9-1-1 Christmas, as a kindle story.

2022

June – I published Lessons from Liberty myself after A Very Bookish 4th of July was no longer in print.

August – Don Wood, book 5 in the Woodbreak series came out.

October – I published a new novel, Summer Light. I also released a new Christmas Collection book, The Christmas Key.
And the KDWC Aunties first collection, A Homewood Christmas was published.

September – A new Christmas Card story, Bessie’s Candles was released.

2023

February – KDWC released another collection titled, Everything.

May – I published Finding Home, a novella, and Wherever He Leads, a novel.

June – I published a Christmas novella, Tidings Bringing.

July – I wrote a short story, The Minor, the Preacher, and the Outlaws, and published it a day or so later.

October – Joy, another KDWC collection was published. And then the KDWC Aunties released Another Homewood Christmas.
I also published a new Christmas Card story titled Faithful & Joyful.

November – The new Christmas Collection story, Christmas in the Same Country, was released.

2024

January – Started off the year with the publication of another pocket book, Heroes without Capes.

February – I finally released another Graham Quartet book, The Graham Quartet and the House on Old Elm Road.

June – I published a new Christmas Card story, Because of Love.

July – A new KDWC collectin, No Clue, was published.

August – Finally another novel: Nan’s Ice Cream Shop.

November – The newest Christmas Collection book, Running Away from Christmas came out.

Whew! If you made it this far, congratulations! That’s a lot of books and titles and covers! What’s going to come out this year? I’m not sure. I’m hoping for The Red Heart Cafe, Katie Wood, a new Christmas Collection story, and A Gift for Uncle Clem. After that, we’ll see.

Have you read any of the books listed today? If so, which one or ones? Are there any on your TBR list? I’d love to know!

Loved this series! I can’t believe that Summer Light was THREE YEARS AGO already though 😳😳 I’ve read probably most of these, although I still haven’t got to the 2024 releases. Soon, I hope!
Looking forward to this year’s books!!!
