Dear Readers,
Here I am on the back porch swing of Tentalizing Tales. It’s pretty quiet right now and a little chilly. I have my Motivational Hot Chocolate with me and a warm blanket over my legs. I think most of the girls are busy here and there. Hopefully some of them are even writing. 😉 TT has 15 campers this camp and the largest tent goal in camp! But in spite of that, we’re making huge progress and are planning on conquering that massive 469,055 word goal! Crazy, I know. Four of us have already reached our goal and are trying for more. Others are making great progress and will no doubt reach their goal before the end of the month.
My goal this month has been 20k. I wanted to set my goal for more than that but because November was super busy for me, I wasn’t even sure I could get 20k in.
However, I managed to keep an average of 1k a day written. And then last week I managed to reach 20k! I’m currently at 21k and we’ll see how much more I can get written this month.
I know, you’re probably wanting to know what I’m working on. First up was Secret Project. I reached the end of it! Yay! Then I worked on this year’s Christmas Card Story. And then, well, when you have 15 started stories and 7 stories you want to start, there’s no lack of things to work on. And that doesn’t count any other stories that I might start during camp. Like the short story I wrote last week. Maybe I’ll share it on my Friday blog.
KDWC has the largest number of campers we’ve ever had! And we have campers from 7 new countries this time! It’s exciting to see how the Lord blesses and grows this little corner of the internet.
Can you believe Thanksgiving is Thursday? Of course if you live in Canada you already had Thanksgiving. And if you live in some other country, do you have a Thanksgiving Day? Well, even if you don’t, there’s no reason you can’t give thanks now. So . . .
Black Friday Indie Sales are happening THIS Friday!!! You don’t want to miss it! SO many books on sale or free! I won’t tell you how many books I’ve gotten on this sale over the years (or how many of those are still waiting to be read) because that might scare you away. But just note, you don’t want to miss this! So mark your calendar, set a reminder, add it to your places to shop on Friday! You can fill your kindle and settle in for a long winter with plenty to read.
Anyway, that’s it for now. I really need to get back to writing and find out what my girls are up to. Talk to ya later!
