I don’t know if you knew or not, but I got asked to write a story for this new A Very Bookish Collection. I was thrilled with a chance to write a 4th of July story. It was so much fun to write! I got to include red, white, and blue, flags, fireworks, patriotic characters, and a fantastic Independence Day. I also got to connect it to a classic story.
And that wasn’t all! I had the fun of creating all the quote graphics and designing some promotional images (including the header). If you really know me, you’ll know that next to Christmas, I love the 4th of July! It was such fun creating all these patriotic images.
My niece did help me create some of the promo graphics and it was fun working with her.

So, are you as excited as I am about this collection? I got to read all three of the other stories and I must say they produced a patriotic feeling.
