Woodbreak
A western mystery series. Clean, Christian, and for the entire family. This series will take you down the Wood family tree as they help others, stand for right, solve mysteries, and through it all, depend on God for His help and guidance.
Woodbreak β The Prequel
Who holds the key to Woodbreak’s hidden past?
When Ryan and Robin decide to search out the history of their family’s ranch, their quest leads them to an old box filled with curious artifacts. Who was the mysterious Anna? What brought her west? And what connection does she have to the strange name carved into the log?
A peek into Anna’s diary reveals a few answers but even more questions. Is there anyone who can show them the truth of Woodbreak?
Jim Wood β Book 1
Something sinister is afoot, but where?
The arrival of a gun-toting stranger in a little Western town causes quite a stir. Who is this man? What is he after? And most importantly, which side of the law is he on?
Jim Wood likes the look of the area, but before he can think of settling down, he’ll have to finish the business that brought him here. With doubt and suspicion on every side, can he find the answers he needs? Or will evil win out before the truth is revealed?
Anna Wood β Book 2
Could God choose to use even her weakness?
Miss Anna Albert is worried. In the months since their son’s disappearance, Mrs. Kenagy has grown steadily sadder, while her husband seems to have turned his back on God. But what really happened to Ben? Is there any way to know for sure? And how could a girl with no voice ever help find the answer?
When she confides her troubles to Jim Wood, he offers his assistance in solving the puzzle, but to Anna’s surprise, he seems to truly want her help. Is it possible God can use her despite her silence? And might He have plans for her beyond her greatest dreams?
Are you excited about these books? Do you enjoy clean, Christian, historical fiction, western mysteries? Do you like to read series or stand alone books better? What is your favorite genre?

These sound like a lot of fun!! Congratulations on releasing your new series! π π I really love book series, but recently I have been reading mainly stand alone books. But if you really love characters, it’s good to have more than one book to read about them!!

Thanks, Lauren! Yes, I love stand alone books, but I also enjoy book series. And this series is different than most book series I’ve read in that the MC is different in each book. π
Lauren Compton says
Just brought the prequel to read with my siblings π
Lauren Compton says
Oh! A different MC in each book sounds like fun! π I can only think of one series off the top of my head that I’ve read that’s like that (but it’s not a series I can recommend π ).

Wow!!! I love these books!! I think they are your best ones!! I read the prequel and that got me soo interested! Then I read book 1 last night and when I finished, started right up on book 2 (even though it was after 2am). I only planned to read a couple pages or so, and then I was going to quit and go to sleep at 3am….but then at 3 I read a little further…… π When I looked at the clock a “few minutes” later, it was a little after 4!! Shocked, I checked what page I was on and only had 15 or so pages left, and I couldn’t go to sleep and leave the story hanging there, could I???
It’s a good thing I didn’t have book 3 or I would never have gotten to bed last night! LOL
I loved the sweet ending to book 2!!β€
Thank you and please keep writing…fastππ
