Book Brush-Cover Designer

March 24, 2020 by readanotherpage 7 Comments

Last year I was introduced to Book Brush.

They were a new online company that enabled you to create amazing 3D images of your book covers. I fell in love with it the first time I tried it. (Read my post here.) It was fast, made all sorts of 3D images, I could also get promo images, and all I had to do was upload my cover and push a button. (NEWS: They just released some of the promo images to those with a free account!)

Not too long ago they came out with a Box Set Creator.

Now I could do something I’d been wanting to do for a long time. And that is make my Triple Creek Ranch books into a box image.

Pretty fun, huh? And yes, clicking on the image will take you to the Amazon page for the TCR books.

Well, that’s not the only thing Book Brush has added. They have been growing. They’re constantly adding new features, new ways to help authors with their covers.

Enter Cover Creator!

They have a Cover Creator!

Yes, you can now design the covers of your books on Book Brush! And, if you already have a kindle cover and want to create a paperback, you can just upload the cover and slap it on to the front of the template.

You can create covers for your kindle book with an already sized template.

Oh, you wanted to create a paperback cover? All you have to do is pick the trim size, the type of paper (white, cream, colored), and add the number of pages your book has. It will create a template for you and all you’ll have to do is add the front, back and spine images and text.

They even have a cover template for a 4×6 book! (They didn’t have one, but I asked for one and they made it!)

If you want to create an audio cover, they even have that option.

Want to see my first paperback cover I designed?

Okay, it wasn’t quite finished yet. There was no real synopsis, and the publishing logo was way too large.

And . . .

If that isn’t enough for you, they even have a Background Removal button! You can purchase credits to use or if you get a certain plan on Book Brush you get credits each month. I haven’t used it yet because I don’t have an image where I need the background removed, but I can’t wait to try it!

Okay, so I got a little excited there. You can’t do all of these things with the free version, but if you have several books to do, it’s totally worth the price. Go check it out.

Doesn’t that all look like fun? I can’t wait to get my first 4×6 books that were designed on Book Brush! What would you be the most interested in? Have you ever looked at Book Brush?

This looks like a cool website! Just curious: how do you publish your 4×6 books? KDP doesn’t seem to have that option…

You can set your book size to any that you want, however, if it is not a size that KDP has, you won’t be able to publish it a few places, but it still sells on Amazon and you can get your own copies to sell.
