Do you love the Grandma’s Attic books? Then you need to get this book and add it to your collection of Christmas books! (You do have a collection of Christmas stories, don’t you?)
Christmas Stories from Grandma’s Attic
Arleta Richardson
Grandma Mabel relates the events of many past Christmases. Step into Christmas past and share the sights, sounds, and stories of bygone days. Author Arleta Richardson says, “There is something comforting about the traditions of Christmas.” And there is something comforting about these old-fashioned stories, capturing the kind of moments that make Christmas live forever in our memories and exuding a spirit of love, good will, and peace on earth.
The stories in this collection, observed through the eyes and ears of the merry cast of characters from the Grandma’s Attic series, take place from 1882 to 1933. Each is based upon the author’s recollections of her own experiences and of the stories her grandmother told to her.
My Review
Some of the stories in this collection are taken right from the pages of the Grandma’s Attic books, but not all of them. There are also stories that you won’t find anywhere else. I enjoy reading these stories again and again. Some of them bring much laughter as Sarah Jane and Mabel get into one scrape or another, but others have a touch of the sweet and tender. All in all, this is a collection of stories worth reading and re-reading.
Have you read this book before? Do you enjoy the Grandma’s Attic books?

My little sister and I LOVE the Grandma Artic Series! We have been collecting a lot of the books. I noticed in the books like “More Stories” and “Still More Stories” and the Storybook have a lot of the same stories in them. But like you said, there are many new ones too. How many books do you have of the series? Where did you find the Christmas one? We don’t have that and haven’t read it before, but really want to.
Love
Ashley

I have the entire Grandma’s Attic series which is a 10 book series, plus the Christmas one. I’m not sure where or when we got the Christmas book. You might be able to find a copy on Amazon. It’s a lot of fun to read.
