While this story is told in the form of notes from one side of the river to the other, I was able to picture the setting, the characters, and felt like there had been much more in the story than had actually been written. It was very sweet, and the ending was lovely. I didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did.
Have you read this story before? Do you like longer or shorter Christmas stories? Or do you care?
I really liked this one, too!
Oh, good. 🙂
I have this book on my Kindle! I’ve started it, but I have yet to reach the end. 😊
Well, it’s pretty short so hopefully it won’t take you too long.
Judging from your review, this one sounds like a nice story…. and I think I have it on my Kindle, but never read it yet.
Since you’re sharing all these wonderful reviews, would you be interested in linking up your Christmas book reviews as part of my “Literary Christmas” reading challenge this month? If so, just pop over to my blog to check it out. I’d love to see you there! 🙂

I wasn’t expecting to enjoy it as much as I did.
I keep meaning to do that but have been so busy that I haven’t had a chance to go find the link. So thanks. 😀

I can see why everyone has it on kindle, it’s free! I’ll have to read it now!
