Merry 6th of December! Is your decorating done? Have you made any Christmas cookies yet? Have you read any Christmas books this season? If not, I have one for you.
Christmas Comes to Sunflower by Sarah Maxwell
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This is a nice addition to the Moody series. The children all come together in spite of the obstacles to make this a very special Christmas for a young neighbor boy. I really enjoy the interactions between the siblings. It’s nice to have a book where discord in the family is rare instead of the norm. As usual with this series there is plenty of humor, loving moments, and the truths of Scripture.
This book also has a reading guide so you can read it with “Winter Days with the Moodys” since they both take place during the same time.

There’s a whole series of Moody books! I think there are 10 maybe? Not counting this one. I can’t see my bookshelf at the moment. 🙂
