Christmas Eve at the Backdoor
Rebekah A. Morris
My A Favorite Review
Admits a whole slew of Christmas books that are filled with magic and unexplained happenings, I can always count on Rebekah Morris to be down to earth. That doesn’t mean her books are slow, goodness, this one never slowed down!
I love the simplistic, yet sweet way everything that happened was portrayed. Back doors may seem like a simple thing, but in this book they mean so much more than just entry ways. I can’t say too much without giving stuff away (after all, this is a really short book). But I loved it! It would be a great read-aloud book for kids. And there is a kitten in it, which makes it like five times more adorable.
I still think At the Christmas Lodge is my favorite of this author’s Christmas books, but this one is super sweet.

I’m planning to read this one sometime tomorrow! π I’ve been waiting to read it until tomorrow because I thought it would be fun to read a book called “Christmas Eve at the Backdoor” on Christmas Eve. π
I agree. That just sounds like you should read it on Christmas Eve. π But I hope your Christmas Eve isn’t quite like the story’s. π
Merry Christmas!
Hmm… I’m curious now! π
Merry Christmas to you too, Rebekah! π
I’d love to know what you think once you’ve read it. π
Okay! I’ll let you know! π
I really enjoyed “Christmas Eve at the Backdoor”! π It was really fun, and I did get to read it on Christmas Eve. π
I also got “A Christmas Disaster” and βAt the Christmas Lodgeβ for Christmas!!
I hope you had a lovely Christmas, Rebekah! π
Glad you enjoyed it! And how fun to have gotten two others for Christmas! π
My Christmas was different. We were all sick. π I took about three naps that day, my dad slept all afternoon, and we all dragged around the house. Not a usual Christmas. Hopefully yours was better. π
Thanks, I did have a nice Christmas.
Oh no!!! That’s horrible that you guys were sick! I really hope you’re all feeling better now!
We’re getting better. Still not quite over the coughs.
That door knob cover image? Has me sold.
Isn’t it perfect? I love the cover on that one!
Thank-you, Rebekah!!! I love Depression stories. π And thanks for all the Christmas-stories sharing! I’m gonna try to get them someday. You’ve made me love Christmas stories too. π BTW, is “Our Christmas Bear” by an Indie/Self-Published Author?
Merry Christmas to you too!!
Merry Christmas, Katja!
You’re welcome! I’m happy to have spread my love Christmas stories. π
And yes, “Our Christmas Bear” is by an Indie author.
