Are you ready to head to Ireland and spend Christmas in the country there? If so, today’s story is ready to take you there.
The Top o’ Christmas Morining by Alta Halverson Seymour
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
A fun Christmas story set in Ireland. As most of this author’s Christmas books, the story starts before Christmas but there is so much of the traditions and fun of Christmas that the other part is only a leading up to Christmas. These characters were delightful from Sheila, to Kevin and Nora, to Danny. Each one is different. And all the other characters. There is some mystery in this story and quite a bit of fun.
Since this story takes place in Ireland, there is some mention in passing of the “little people” when they tell stories, and a short visit to a gypsy fortune teller. But what she tells are things that anyone could have figured out if they were observant.
A fun read for Christmas.
Have you ever spent Christmas in another country? If not and you could pick any country, where would you go? If you have, where did you go?
