Book #21 Right Number

December 21, 2020 by readanotherpage 8 Comments

Can you believe it’s almost Christmas? Were you thinking about Christmas way back in August? No? Well, Emily Abbott was.

Right Number by Perry Elisabeth Kirkpatrick

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A short, but fun visit with Emily Abbott. And Brent. The idea of Christmas in August was fun, and this short story had me smiling many times. (Added enjoyment because the author took a book I’ve read and turned it into a Christmas movie. I could totally see it!)

Have you read any of the Emily Abbott books? Have you ever celebrated Christmas in a different month? Would you enjoy a full Emily Abbott book that takes place at Christmas time?

I’ve actually read this one twice in the last few months! πŸ˜„ Not only have I really enjoyed the Emily Abbott books, but I’ve got my cousin excited about them too!

Yes! I would love a full Emily Abbott Christmas story! (Tbh, it’s strange reading about 100F weather in Phoenix when it’s snowing outside my window! πŸ˜‚)

And no, I haven’t celebrated Christmas in a different month, though our Christmas celebrations usually go into January.

I need to reread this one. Maybe I can fit it in before the new year.
Should we get a petition going for a full Emily Abbott Christmas story? πŸ˜‰ Oh, that would be strange thinking about the heat when it’s snowing.
I haven’t celebrated Christmas any other month either.
