Book #20 A Christmas Disaster

December 19, 2017 by readanotherpage 10 Comments

Do you need a bit of humor, a bit of grit and determination? Perhaps a chance to let others deal with challenges this Christmas time? Today’s story is all of that and more. It’s also free.

A Christmas Disaster (Christmas Collection)

A Christmas Disaster

Rebekah A. Morris

As the students of Coolidge High School prepare for their annual Christmas play, excitement mounts. Performed at the local theater, the play, with the students in complete charge of, the performances has become a tradition in town. Everything is going well until the morning of the final performance when calamity hits. Should the students cancel the final performance or try to turn the disaster into something good?

My A Favorite Review

Ahh! Ok this story . . . the characters! The descriptions! Everything! Rebekah has this amazing way of writing stories that literally stick in your mind. The story is almost like a moving picture when you read it; everything is so vivid and clearly described.
The students of Coolidge High School are putting together the biggest theater production they have ever made and goodness, is a lot of work going into it! AT first, everything is running smoothly, but then, on the last day, disaster strikes and the whole play is left leaning precariously on the edge of being cancelled.
If there’s one thing you learn from this story, it’s perseverance. Even though it seemed impossible to continue the play, the students were determined to try their best to keep it going. They set their minds on it and worked harder than they had ever worked before, even though they didn’t know whether it would actually be successful. If there’s a will . . . there is definitely a way.

I’m thrilled to find I have a loyal reader. ๐Ÿ™‚ Are you signed up to be a test reader for me?

I’m probably not pronouncing your name right, so if not, tell me how! ๐Ÿ™‚ “Caught-chyah” (How do you write a phonetic pronunciation of a name you aren’t sure if you know how to say it?) ๐Ÿ˜‰ Am I anywhere close?

No. . . I did subscribe to Rebekah’s Reading Room though. Also to your newsletter. . .

LOL you’re pretty close! I live in Quรฉbec, Canada, but we’re bilingual. (Obvs ๐Ÿ˜‰). So in French we pronounce it โ€œCats-yahโ€ and in English, โ€œKot(s)-yaโ€ (the โ€œsโ€ almost imperceptible) thus my nickname, Kots. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I recently posted an Instagram video on how to pronounce it LOL. I had no idea it was so hard for people to pronounce LOL! Its actually Scandinavianโ€”nickname for Katarina (Katherine). ๐Ÿ™‚
