Ready for a book full of Christmas memories? A book filled with real stories from long ago? Today’s book is all that and more.
Reminisce Christmas 2010 by Julie Kastello
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
If you are like me and love history and real stories, and Christmas and old-fashioned adds, then this is a book for you. I loved getting to read all the memories and stories of Christmases from the 1930s-1960s. The pictures added charm and there are even recipes for special Christmas goodies! These stories pulled at my heart, made me smile, set me to dreaming of times when folks knew what Christmas really meant, and brought me to tears over simple acts of kindness.
Since the stories are short, this is a great book to pick up and read a little of here and there during December. Or you may find yourself so lost in the pages that you don’t come out again for an hour.
I would recommend this book to anyone who loves history and stories of real people.
Have you read any of the Reminisce books? Have you read their other Christmas book? Do you enjoy books like this one?

Yes, that’s a good one too. Some of the stories from this book are during WWII.
