The Christmases We Used To Know by Clancy Strock
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
As always, this Reminisce book is filled to the brim with real stories! The only difference is, this one is all Christmas stories! From the first page until the last, I delighted in memories of past Christmases told by so many different people. There were shorter stories, longer ones, and pictures. Each chapter focuses on a different aspect of the holiday season: plays & pageants, downtown decorations, joy of giving, gifts, togetherness, and even an entire chapter about Christmas far from home.
If you are a writer looking for inspiration, it’s here. If you are someone who loves history, read this book. If you just enjoy tales of Christmas, this will fill you with delight.
Yes, I recommend this book!
Have you read any Reminisce books? Does this sound like something you’d enjoy reading?
I’ve joined Faith Pott’s 12 Days of Christmas celebration and blog hop again this year, so just click on the image to head over and today’s blog posts.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I love Reminisce!
YESSSSSSS! 😀
I’ve never read a Reminisce book, but this one looks delightful. 🙂
Faith, you’ve got to change that! You NEED to read one, or two, or three. There are some that are just WWII stories. And you can usually find some pretty cheap on Amazon.
We pulled Together…and Won! Is the best one yet!
Isn’t it great? I love reading all the stories!
Okay, here’s one I want to read. 😀

Yes, I thought of you when I got this post ready. 🙂 Hope you can get a copy. 🙂
I didn’t know Reminisce had books! My late grandparents got that magazine and I think Good Ole Days, and I remember loving reading every issue I could find. I know I spent hours perusing those pages! I must look into the books. Thanks!!
Yes! They’ve compiled many books on different topics: school, Christmas, WWII, women, the great depression, the 40s, 50s, etc. They are so much fun to read!
