This is another story for all you WW2 fans out there. Or for anyone who likes fairy-tale re-tellings.

The cover is what pulled me to read this story in the first place because I’m not really much of a fan of fairy-tale re-tellings (or fairy tales at all). But, I had read a few other stories by this author and decided to go ahead and try it. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. The setting, the characters, the action were all interesting and kept me wanting to read.
This is a story I’ll probably read again.

I’ve never read a Christmas fairytale retelling, but I enjoyed Amanda Tero’s Tales of Faith series. That’s actually the only retellings I’ve read. I have some retelling ideas of my own, but they aren’t fairytales. More like classic stories and legends. Not sure when I’ll get to them though…

I’m not usually a fan of fairy tale retellings, but I liked Amanda Tero’s books, and I liked today’s book.
I know what you mean about ideas but not sure when you’ll get to them! 😉
