Do you like short stories? Ones that are short enough to read while you wait for something to finish baking? Or short enough that you can read it while someone runs into the store for something? Today’s story is that length. And it’s on sale.

A Blue Coat by Courtenay Burden
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
A fun, short story. Not much too it, but then it isn’t very long. While there’s not really much about Christmas, it does take place on Christmas Eve.
It is told in first person present tense which isn’t my favorite style, but it didn’t bother me too much.
