Today’s book is by one of my favorite Christmas story authors. I wish her books were still in print and easily found.
A Grandma for Christmas by Alta Halverson Seymour
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Another delightful story by Alta Seymour. This one is based on stories her father told about growing up in Norway, and he is the main character in the book. That made it even more fun to read.
Although this book is shorter than her other Christmas stories, it’s still a wonderful story that I will read again.
Have you read any books by Alta Halverson Seymour? I’ve mentioned quite a few. Do you think you’d enjoy spending Christmas in Norway? Do you like Christmas stories that are based on real people and events?
Check out other Christmas books on the Christmas Stories to Read page.

Oh, you really should change that! You might be able to get some of her books on an Inner Library loan. And I know you can find some of her books (just not her Christmas ones) on Open Library.
