This was such a sweet Christmas story of a little girl who felt compassion for someone else. I wanted the story to keep going. I wanted to know what happened next with Frances and her new friend, but at the same time the story was just right.
The illustrations are beautiful and really brought the story and the setting to life.

I don’t know if you can find this in your local library or not. But it’s a lovely story. Have you read it? What is one of your favorite Christmas picture books?
