Writing Camp has started and I don’t have a lot of time, and many of my readers should be busy writing to, so I’ll keep today’s post simple.
“If you don’t have time to read, you don’t have the time (or the tools) to write. Simple as that.”
― Stephen King
“Read, read, read. Read everything — trash, classics, good and bad, and see how they do it. Just like a carpenter who works as an apprentice and studies the master. Read! You’ll absorb it.
― William Faulkner
Then write. If it’s good, you’ll find out. If it’s not, throw it out of the window.”
Are you a reader as well as a writer? Do you read the same type of thing all the time or do you branch out and try other kinds of books? Do you read as much or more than you write?

These days I’m reading a lot. I read many different genres, but my favorite is historical fiction.
