Book #21 An Old-Time Christmas

December 21, 2019 by readanotherpage 9 Comments

I first read this story earlier this summer when the author shared it on a blog. Then she got it finished and said you can get it for Free! (Click on the cover.)

This is a lovely Christmas story.
The setting was done in such a way that I could almost feel the cold and wind. I almost felt the hunger and the misery.
While this is a short story, the characters were well done for the most part. A few of the side characters were a little flat, but since they weren’t in there too much it didn’t bother me.
The ending was sweet and left me with a peaceful and satisfied feeling.

This story has a feel of a Louisa May Alcott book, which is fun.

This is a Christian book and the real meaning of Christmas is portrayed very well.

Did you get it? Don’t you like free Christmas stories? I know I do. And I like sharing them.

I’m a part of the 12 Days of Christmas blog party again this year, so check out the other post for today by clicking on the image.
