There are many book series. Some are more popular and others are not. I thought it would be fun to have a series about book series and share some of these with you all.

Moody Family by Sarah Maxwell

Overview:
This series is about a Christian, homeschool family taken from the author’s own real-life experiences. Throughout each book, the Moodys’ love of the Lord Jesus, enjoy their family, have exciting adventures, homeschool, and face everyday challenges.

Main Characters and Relationships:
The main characters are children in the family, so the books are geared for younger or middle grade readers. The relationships among the siblings and with parents are really good.

Pros and Cons:
Pros: A lot of modeling good behavior, loving relationships, time in God’s Word, serving others, etc.
Cons: Some people think the family is not realistic and too good.

My Thoughts:
I really enjoyed the Moody series even though I was in my 20s and older when I read them. Delightful characters, realistic family who honors the Lord and wants to serve Him. I liked it that while the children weren’t perfect, they weren’t constantly getting into trouble or creating drama. Love the illustrations!
