There are many book series. Some are more popular and others are not. I thought it would be fun to have a series about book series and share some of these with you all.
Campbell Family by Janet Lambert
Overview:
A family with two girls and a younger brother end up returning to America after spending almost all their life traveling the world on their family’s boat. They may speak 6-7 languages and know how to handle a boat, but now they have to learn to adjust to all things American, make friends, and find their way.
Main Characters and Relationships:
Sandra and Josie have a sweet sister relationship. They also get along with their younger brother. They struggle at times to understand their parents and not get upset with them about things, but overall, this family is a delight.
Pros and Cons:
Pros: Learning to handle different circumstances and finding your way when others pressure you.
Cons: There is some mention of a voodoo ceremony in Book 2, but besides a little description that’s it, and they talk about not believing that stuff.
My Thoughts:
I love this dear family! They are so different and yet so real. The struggles of Josie and how she handles things made me want to hug her. And I do love Sandra and Jay. This is just a fun series with delightful characters and unique situations.
How Many Books:
