5 Fall Favorites – Upcoming Books

September 29, 2023 by readanotherpage 16 Comments

Oh, I can’t wait! The books that are coming out this year or next sound like fun. I didn’t think I’d have trouble picking books for this day since I came up with exactly 5 the first quick list I made, but the more I thought, the more books I discovered were going to be released.

Let’s just stay right here in the living room by the cozy fireplace today, and I’ll talk about books I’m eagerly waiting for. These are all books that aren’t published yet, but they are on the docket for be released in 2023-2024. Some I’ve been waiting a long time for while others are fairly new. But grab a chair and let’s get to this list.

License to Code

I have been wanting to read this next Emily Abbott since I finished book 8. And that was way back in 2020. I’m not sure when Perry is going to publish this, but I’d say it was on the top of my list for most looked forward to releases. Yes, this is a hit to Perry to please hurry! 🙂

A Very Bookish Romance

Reading the other stories and books in these collections has been enjoyable, and I’m looking forward to reading this Valentine’s Day collection because I know any romance is going to be sweet and clean.

Another Homewood Christmas

I’m so excited! This book with 7 new Christmas stories set in the tiny town of Homewood, MN is coming out next month! And yes, I have a story in it. And my story takes place 8 years after my first Homewood story happened.

Willow

I got to beta read this book and really enjoyed it. Since the author deals with chronic illness herself, she was able to portray her character very well. I’m looking forward to the release of this finished story.

Letters for Victory

I heard that Kate was writing a WW2 story set on the home front and in the form of letters. That caught my interest, and I can’t wait to read it. Can I sign up to beta read it before it’s even written?

And there are five books I’m excited to see published. And there are more I could have mentioned. I have three of my own stories that are going to be released either later this year or next year, with the good possibility of at least one or maybe two more. But I want to go see what other books are coming out, so come on, let’s head over to Kate’s blog and find some other books.

Are you excited for any of these stories to be published? What are some of the stories that you are looking forward to coming out? Do you ever plan ahead to buy a new book or do you wait until it’s out to decide?

I have an ARC for Willow, but I am very eager for the top 3. Particularly Licence, of course, but I also really want the others, so… anyways, Kate’s sounds epic too!!

I’m really excited for those first three! I loved Homewood Christmas last year. Can’t wait to read the next one!
One book I’m hoping will come out soon is the next book in Kate’s Case Files by Sarah Holman. I love those and read them as soon as she puts them out. 😉

Letters for Victory sounds really interesting! I hadn’t heard about that one, but now I want to read it. And yes to License to Code! It definitely needs to release very very soon, even though I haven’t had to wait quite as long as since 2020. And of course I’m super excited for Willow’s release!!!

That’s so exciting you have your own upcoming release, Rebekah! I pray it goes well with the publishing (also, I almost forgot about A Very Bookish Romance! I’m so sad to see it’s the last one *sobs*.)

Usually, I wait for a book to release before deciding to buy, unless it’s an author I know well. How about you?

I usually wait unless I am already familiar with the author and am sure I’m going to like it. (Or if I got to beta read it and know I want it.)

License to Code, yes!! I’ve also got an ARC for Willow which I’m excited to start properly, and I haven’t heard of Letters for Victory before now but I WANT IT!!! XD

There’s definitely tons of books I plan to get as soon as they become available, long in advance! 😁 There’s a LOT I’m looking forward to right now but Katie Wood would be near the top 😜

Sounds like you won’t have any trouble finding new books, Lyds. 😀
Yes, I’d love to get Katie Wood done! I’m just going to have to start it and see what happens. 😛
