Hello again. Do you still have room for more books? Well, we’ve got plenty to share so come on and join the fun!
The sunshine is so pretty today. Look how it’s turning the leaves into glowing gold and orange and scarlet! It’s a perfect day to take a leisurely ride on one of the bikes, or take a boat out on the lake for a row. Enjoy a hike through the glorious woods and rest on one of the benches while you sort through your stack of books. Wander down the road to the orchard and help pick some apples. Sure you can stop and eat some while you read. You might even find an empty bushel basket you can fill with books. If you get a little chilly, you can enjoy some time around the bonfire talking about your favorite stories. Have you made it to the barn yet and tried the big swing? Or if you want to enjoy the sunshine, take a blanket, spread it in the grass, empty your full backpack and relax as you look through new stories.
And we only need 26 more people to enter the giveaway before we can offer a 2nd place winner! So share with your family, friends, neighbors, 3rd cousins, aunts, mailman, well, you get the point. π
Just so you know how this works, I’ll be sharing my Top 5 books in the day’s genre, and right below that, I’ll have the links to all the other rooms, I mean blogs. Make sure you check them all out and find the Books room because they will be offering a FREE short story! And then, below the party rooms, is the giveaway. You won’t want to miss that!
Hope
So many stories that portray hope. I had a hard time deciding which ones to share that I hadn’t shared before. Some of these stories are shorter, but others are longer.
This story offers hope in the promise of a new life, a new chance, and a new job. Touching and sweet.
Their Day at the Beach by Isabella Alden
The hope is offered by some young people and then later returned.
How They Kept the Faith by Grace Raymond
A story set in France during the persecution of the Christians. Some of it is pretty intense and exciting, but hope is always there.
What’s in the Parcel? by Catherine MacKenzie
This short story for children gives a picture of the life of a real missionary and the hoped for help.
Finding Hope by Melanie D. Snitker
Yes, this is somewhat a romance, but it’s focused more on the main character dealing with cancer and the hope she keeps holding on to.
Are you ready to visit all the other Party Roomsβer, blogs? Have fun and donβt forget to leave comments, add books to your TBR list and enter the giveaway! Oh, and these will open in a new tab, so donβt worry, you wonβt get lost in the acres of land around the Literary Lodge. π

I love today’s genre so much!! (Yes, I know I said that yesterday, but I really mean it!! XD) All these genres are so nice. I think today I’ve ended up adding the most books to my TBR. They all look so amazing!!
Oh, and Off Course is one of my favourite short stories!! I haven’t read the others though π

It was fun to see the different kinds of books people chose for the word Hope!
readanotherpage says
Yes, everyone has their own ideas about it. π
Hannah Foster says
Whoops! I just entered that I wrote a review for Celia Garth, but I actually did that yesterday not realizing it had to be a review I wrote today. Sorry!
readanotherpage says
Well, as long as you didn’t enter with writing a review yesterday, it’ll be fine. π
Hannah Foster says
Nope, I didn’t. Thanks!
Courtenay Burden says

I have so many new books added to my mental TBR list I decided to start a physical one in a new notebook I just got. XD Two full pages just from the last couple of days!! XD I haven’t read any of these, but a couple of them are being added to the list! π
readanotherpage says
That’s a good idea!
(I’ll let you in on a little secret, all the book titles from this FFF will be on a downloadable list on Saturday and available for everyone.)
Kenzie O'Brennan says
REALLY?! *gasps and squeals and squeaks* XD
readanotherpage says
Yep. π We know it’s hard to remember all the books, so this way you can mark all the ones you want to read and or all the ones you have read or whatever you want. π
Lydia Coral W says
The entry form isn’t loading for me now… I don’t know if it’s my Internet, or what, but I can’t get it to open!π¬
readanotherpage says
That’s strange. It’s working on my end. Maybe try again in a few minutes and see what happens.
Lydia Coral W says
No, it’s still not working… I’ve tried on several different devices and I’ve cleared all my history… but it’s just loading and loading and never actually coming upπ
readanotherpage says
I emailed the giveaway link to see if that works. Sometimes a direct link fixes things.
faithpotts says
I considered listing Off Course for one of my books in this category! π
