This isn’t going to be a normal post. Just thought I’d let you know right from the start.
You see . . .
The Indians attacked the wagon train I was on, but we were able to drive them off when a terrible storm blew in after five hours of fighting.
Uh, wrong time period
It was the outlaws. They tried to derail the train, but the engineer saw the twisted tracks and slowed down. While that was good for the train and the outlaws, it wasn’t so good for the passengers, except that we had some soldiers on one of the cars and they, together were some others, were able to keep the outlaws at bay until the engineer was able to back the train to safety.
Oops. That’s the wrong story.
I was kidnapped by book thieves and held for ransom. The price? Five new stories! I’m working hard trying to get these stories done! One is finished and published. That’s my June story. And I have my July story written, but it won’t come out until July. Do you think the book thieves will settle for draft copies?
Actually it really wasn’t any of those things. I’ve just been working from a different computer this week (and last week) because my computer is being difficult and had to go checked out. This computer, while it will work, is a lot slower, and doesn’t have all my files and such on it. Hopefully I will have my computer back next week.
Until then, just a reminder that this is the last month of the Read Another Page Reading Challenge! You all have been doing an incredible job of reading! A few have already finished the challenge, some are nearly done, and others have read more than normally would have. If you haven’t finished yet, don’t give up. You have until the 30th at mid-night to read. If you need suggestions, or ideas of books to read for certain categories, don’t hesitate to ask. Or check out the book list and see if there’s anything there. I don’t know about you, but I like going to that list just to look at all the books. π And remember, ever 6 books you read you can enter the giveaway. And ever 6 books you review you can enter the giveaway.

a fun post. hope things work out with the computers. yes i have been reading more recently. I have found out if I read a paper book 45 min to an hour before I go to bed, I tend to sleep better. No glares from computers or tablets, etc. Interesting experiment. But my husband who works all day on a computer and uses his tablet and tv etc before bed has no problem falling into a deep sleep. funny. have a great day.

Yes, I sleep better if I turn off my computer 30 minutes before I go to bed and just read a paper book. But my sister works on her computer up until she goes to bed and doesn’t have trouble sleeping.
Thanks for coming by.

Haha, that made me laugh!!! π Sorry about your computer, I hope it starts working again soon! π I can’t believe the reading challenge is just about done! We’re you/we still planning to do another one later?

Oh, glad you got a laugh out of this, Rosalyn. π I’m not planning on doing another reading challenge this year, but I have one in mind for the beginning of next year. π

Oh yay!! π

Ohhh, is it too late to enter the reading challenge? Could I use books I’ve read/reviewed since January? This is what comes from my not finding/following you until recently… π But I recently remedied the unaccountable error of not having all your books on my TBR list. <3

Hi Angie! No, it’s not too late to join. And yes, you can count anything you’ve read since January if it fits in the categories. Let me know if you are going to join and I’ll add you to the list. Then you can let me know what books you’ve read, and any that you’ve reviewed.
Well, I’m glad you remedied that error! π
Angie Thompson says
Absolutely! Sign me up! π
I’m combing my Goodreads lists to see which categories I have so far; I’ll post in the challenge thread when I have them. π

Sounds good! I’ll get you added and I’ll look forward to seeing which books you’ve read. π Oh, and if you can give me links to these books (and reviews if you’ve written them) that would even better.
