Once upon a time, many years ago, there was a little girl. She had three brothers and lived with her parents in a comfortable home. On the girl’s 3rd birthday something happened. She was given a sister for her birthday. For years after that the two sisters had birthday parties together. The years past and the big sister grew up and got married. She had two children, a boy and a girl. But then it was her birthday again. She had some friends over for lunch and ate Mexican. Later she began feeling a bit unwell and before the night was over, a baby girl arrived to share a birthday with her mommy and aunt.
That baby girl was me.
And today is my birthday. (And my mom’s birthday, and her sister’s birthday.)

I wanted to do something a little different and fun, so when my sister suggested I do 39 giveaways, I was instantly excited! I contacted some of my author friends who gladly contributed to the fun. So get ready to enter a whole lot of giveaways!
[Click on the title to enter that giveaway. You may enter as many or as few as you wish.]

Whew! Are you tired of entering giveaways yet? How many did you enter? Thank you for helping me celebrate my birthday!
Okay so your mother’s birthday story is the coolest ;P and this is such a fun way to celebrate your birthday! Thank you π And Happy birthday!! π
I know! I just think it’s fun that she got a sister and daughter for her birthdays! π
Thank you!
Thank you so much for hosting this giveaway! And a very happy birthday!! π€π€
Thank you, Lyds! And you’re most welcome!
I see a lot of my favourites on hereπ I only entered a few because I’ve got most of these, I think, but I’m glad some people will be getting many of these amazing books!! (Yes, I’m looking at Woodbreak and Through the Tunnel and Goodbye isn’t in the Dictionary and Jayne’s Endeavour and Bound and Off Course…;P)
Yes, so many good stories! π
I really enjoyed Through The Tunnel!
I’m so glad!
I love this – so cool!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
Thank you!
This is so generous of you all – I’m entering most of these π
Wonderful! Have fun!
That ice cream looks super tasty – do you celebrate your birthday with any special treats?
Not any that is consistent except it is chocolate. π Sometimes it’s a chocolate cream pie, other times it’s a very moist double chocolate cake.
Happy Birthday!! And this is such a great idea π
Thank you! Have fun!
I think the “Kiera” link goes to a different giveaway… hmm
Oh, thanks for mentioning that! I’ll go check it!
It should be fixed now. π
Happy Birthday! To clarify, will the kindle books be available in multiple ebook formats?
CutePolarBear
Thank you!
I’m not sure all of them will be but most of them are available in multiple ebook formats.
OK, thanks! And I assume the audiobooks all come through Amazon?
The audio books will come through Audible. You don’t have to have a paid membership to get them.
All right, that’s what I thought. (Not sure I can access those …) Still, I think there are enough of the other kind of giveaways to satisfy me. π I think I read another comment that said you only have to share the giveaways once, and it will count for every giveaway? I’m sure I saw that comment around here somewhere, but the traffic is getting a bit heavy … π
Yes, that is correct. You only have to share it once to count for all the giveaways, but to earn the other entry you must comment for each giveaway. π
Happy Birthday Rebekah! I hope you, your mother, and your aunt have a fun day. Do you have any plans?
Thanks, Lissa!
Tomorrow my mom, sis, and I are heading up to visit my grandpa and aunt, so that will be nice. As for today, nothing is planned. I am expecting to get together with my best friend on Monday. π
Do we have to leave a comment for each give-away we enter, or does one comment cover them all?
You have to comment for each giveaway. π But did doesn’t have to be on this post. It can be on the author’s blog, or my Friday blog, or a different post on this blog. You have options. Or you can get creative and write a really long comment but divide it into parts. π
That’s what I though, but wanted to be sure π
π Yep!
Happy Birthday Auntie Bekah!! A giveaway on your birthday is a great idea!!
Thanks, Elise! *hugs*
Happy Birthday!! It is soo neat that you share you birthday with your mom and aunt. Two of my siblings also have the same birthday, but aren’t twins. Don’t you think that’s neat?
Thank you, Liddy! Oh, that is neat! Do they like it? Are they close in age?
I think that they like it.
It’s a brother and a sister, so they both sort get different themed parties.
They are two years apart.
π
That’s neat.
I was looking through your blog It is beautiful!!! I also really love the covers for your books!
Thanks! π I hope you get to read some of my books and enjoy them.
Me too!
Ooh, fun! I will be entering at least 11 of these. Mostly the audiobook ones since I’ve discovered I can listen to audiobooks at work. Thanks for this giveaway, Rebekah!
Oh, yay! Audio books are a great way to “read” books. π
I ‘read’ most my books through audio Lilly, it’s perfect for working or doing chores
This is so cool! Happy birthday!
Thank you!
I wonder what about happen if those balloons were carrying something–or someone… (Great, yet another short story idea! XD)
Hehe! Always more idea!
This is such a fun giveaway! Just to clarify… ONE blog post comment and ONE “share about the giveaway” count for ALL the giveaways?? Cause I’m guessing you don’t want 39 comments on here from each of us, lol!!
Actually . . . I do want a lot of comments! π So, ONE comment PER GIVEAWAY, but one sharing can count for all the giveaways. π
Okay! Well, commenting is the easier part, I guess π
True. At least you don’t have to share about the giveaway 39 times. π
Wow, that would be a lot of sharing. I don’t think I have 195 friends if that were the case!
π Yeah, that would be a little hard.
Phew!!!! I don’t need to share it 39 times!
π Yeah, I figured that would be a little difficult. π
This is going to be so much fun, Rebekah!!! Hope you have a wonderful birthday!
Thank you, Court!
I agree Courtenay!
I entered several of these giveaways. Thanks for this, Rebekah!
You’re welcome! Thanks for coming, Lilly!
OOOooo Happy birthday!!!! This is exciting!!! Thanks for doing this!!
Thanks, MayB! π You’re welcome!
This is so exciting!
I think so too. π
Also, Happy Birthday! (Me trying to comment enough times to enter all the giveaways. Sadly, most the audiobooks are Rebekah’s, so she can expect several comments.)
π Thanks.
Yep, I wonder if I can set a record for how many comments I get. At least you can comment on other blog posts if you want.
Same Lilly! π
π
And happy birthday Rebekah! Thatβs so fun you and your aunt and mom have the same birthday.
Thank you, SawyerMarie! We rather like it. I also have a cousin who came 45 minutes before our birthday.
Wow, lots of birthdays!
Yeah! We actually have 10 birthdays in April on my mom’s side of the family.
Really? That’s so funny! XD
I know. We were all hoping she’d share our birthday, but I guess she wanted her own.
Fair enough XD
π
Some of these books I didn’t know you wrote, Rebekah.
But I don’t have Kindle Unlimited anymore, so I can’t read for “free”.
Well, maybe KU will have another special free deal and you can try some.
Yes, that’s what I’m hoping for!
If you follow Crystal Paine’s Money Saving Mom blog you’ll know when it happens again. She likes to share about it.
*runs over to MSM’s blog*
That’s how I do it – I wait for a deal and then binge read like crazy, while I have KU. π
Yes! I do too. I try to make a list when I’m not on KU of books I want to read from there.
I do that too! (Keep a list) XD
Oh, really? Which ones? Some of the giveaways are by other authors.
Keeping Up Hope
Yep, I wrote it.
Beyond Comfort
π
Wonderful Peace
Yep, that’s mine too.
and Stories Through the Seasons
Ah, yes, these were rather fun.
And I’m liking your creative way of making your comments last. π
Ooops! Okay, now I have to go comment in a bunch of places π
HeHe! Or you can figure out some really long comment for this post and break it into smaller comments. Or you can post on all sorts of posts here or on the other authors’ blogs. Have fun! π
In other words, we can become professional spammers. π
Yep. For this giveaway, you can. π
And yes, Lilly. Iβm going for audiobooks! I have Through The Tunnel and Gift From The Storm by Rebekah, theyβre both good!
Audiobooks are great, aren’t they?!
Well, if that’s what you want, we will attempt to oblige. Although I feel very much as if I were spamming your page! Ah! I just had an idea! Rebekah, I want to hear one memory/anecdote from the year you were born. π
Hmm, well, let’s see. I was the youngest baby my great-grandma had held (except her own). My brother called me “Cakie”. (He was 4.)
Oh, that’s so much fun! Did it stick?
The name? No. He pretty much calls me Bek now. Sometimes Bekah.
Well, that’s probably easier to explain when other people here him calling you that. π
π Yeah. Before I was born he wanted to name me “Waidy” after a restaurant. π
Aw, that’s such a cute nickname! π
π
Oh, that is an adorable nickname!
^^^ Please share one, Rebekah!
You want another one. . .
My mom called me her “angel baby” because I was such a good baby, I guess. I have since then lost my halo and wings. π
Aw!!!! (My emojis are limited, or I would post the innocent halo one!)
π
π I’ll post it for Courtenay. π
π
Oh and I think I entered 7!!! Again thank you so much!
Yay! And you’re welcome!
I was strongly tempted to work my way systematically through every year of your life, asking for memories. But I decided that might be a little unfair.
Haha! I can tell you that when I was 2 we lived for a few months on a turkey farm. The only thing I remember about that is catching toads and putting them in a bucket. I left the bucket in the sun and when I cam back . . . Yeah, they were dead. I’ve loved toads ever since.
Hey! We did that, too. (Putting toads in a bucket, not living on a turkey farm!) Looking back, I’m sort of sorry for the toads. But as a child, you don’t think of that!
Another toad collector! π Yes, poor toads. π
We’ll just hope they . . . liked it. I mean, you never really know for sure . . .
π That’s true. *nods slowly and thoughtfully*
Oh dear XD
We found a dried up frog in our car once and I didn’t like it at all. XD
Sounds terrible! I guess I didn’t traumatize myself by killing the poor toads.
Happy birthday to the three of you. How cool to celebrate one day with the three of you. Kiera sounds like a wonderful story. Thanks for all the opportunites
Thank you, Lori!
And you’re welcome!
Kiera is a wonderful story! π
π
Rebekah! Your site thinks I’m a robot. It just told me I was posting comments too quickly. Alas! THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THE INTERNET HAS MISTAKEN ME FOR A ROBOT!!!!
And there wasn’t even a “it was her fault” option to click!
π Dear me!
*glares at my website* Courtenay is NOT a ROBOT!
Maybe you just have to be more thoughtful in your comments. Or maybe they didn’t like the toads.
same here
By the way, I shared this with my church email group. I thought maybe that would reach more people than my blog, because I think my blog readership overlaps a good bit with other KDWC authors, whereas my church group should be mostly new.
Oh, thanks! It would be nice to get some new readers over here.
You are welcome!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! I hope you have an amazing day and year! <3 *throws confetti*
Thank you, Sarah!
<3 <3 <3
I’ve read some of these books, so I can vouch for how amazing they are! π
…and some of them I haven’t read, so that’s exciting. :))
Thank you for doing this giveaway! π
You’re welcome! Thanks for celebrating my birthday with me. π
Who would have thought I’d ever celebrate a birthday by spamming a blog post. XD
There is no accounting for the tastes of some writers. π
Haha!
Oh, yay! I was hoping there were at least a few stories that not everyone had read. π
π
Happy birthday to your mum and aunt! That’s so funny that you all share a birthday! π
I’m curious – did it ever bother you that you have to “share” your birthday? π
No. I’ve loved it!
That’s great! π
And it makes for a good story! π
π
I had so much fun commenting right now that I forgot to mark it in the giveaway, lol!
Oh, dear! I guess you should count your comments and then enter that many giveaways. π *is starting to feel like comments are a new currency*
That would work! Haha, yeah! XD
π
Wow! You’re at 136 comments already!
Yay!!!!!
I wonder if you’ll break a record…
At this rate, I know I will!
Happy birthday!! This is so fun and creative!
Thank you! π
I hope that both you and your mom (and mom’s sister) have an amazing birthday!
π <3
Are you doing anything else special on your birthday?
We’ve getting Italian for supper, and that’s about it. Tomorrow we’ll go up and spend time with my grandpa and my aunt.
One more…
And done! Wow, that was a lot of giveaways! Happy birthday again! π
Wow! Good job! Thank you again! <3
π
Happy birthday, Rebekah!! This giveaway is so much fun!! What is your go-to birthday gift for a friend?
And what has been your favorite birthday (or one of your favorites) and why?
I will be sharing a few of my memorable birthdays on Tuesday when I announce the winners. π
Okay, I will be watching for those stories:)
π
Thanks, Edith.
Hmm, it really depends on the friend, but I do like to give books. π Usually one of my own. π
Lol, that’s awesome, books are such great gifts!
Happy birthday, Rebekah!!! Thank you so much for putting this giveaway on!
You’re welcome!
This is SO COOL! Happy Birthday! Thank you for doing the giveaway!
π Thanks, Bree. You’re welcome! Have fun!
Just realized I need to comment 20 times… 5ish down, lots more to go! *grins sheepishly*
π Have fun!
Happy Birthday to you!
Happy Birthday to you! π
Happy Birthday Dear Rebekah!
Happy Birthday to you! π€πππ
Thank you. <3
πΆWe wish you a happy birthday
We wish you a happy birthday!
We wish you a happy birthday…..
And a happy next year!
π
It’s telling me I’m posting comments too quickly! π
Oh, dear. You must have thoughtful comments, I guess. π
C’mon wordpress, I’m just trying to keep from cheating!
π
I can’t enter unless I post a comment!
Will you please understand!
I’ll bet this is the most comments you’ve ever gotten on one post, Bekah! π
For sure! It’s rather funny seeing what everyone comes up with. π
I still have so many to go yet! π₯΅
Pardon me while I continue chatting away
So, what’s the weather like?
Quite lovely here, thank you
Oh good, my weather’s nice too
The weather here is sunny, warm, and really windy!
how many more do you have to enter yet?
Oh only eight
quickly dropping to 6 with these two comments
Random fact time! The worldβs largest grand piano was built by a 15-year-old in New Zealand.
That is interesting.
There are 293 ways to make change for a dollar
Wow!
The eye of an ostrich is bigger than it’s brain
I knew that one.
On average a secretary will use his/her left hand for 56% of what he/she types
Hmm, that’s interesting.
Yay I’ve made it to the end! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!
Yay!!!!! And thank you for coming to celebrate my birthday with me! π *hugs*
Great idea Autumn, I’ll sing a song too. *vocal warmups*
π *tries not to laugh*
here’s a random useless fact: peaches are part of the almond family
I did not know that.
Happy Birthday!!
I love reading your books!
Thanks, Olivia! *hugs*
Happy Birthday!!
We love your books!!!
Thanks, Tracy! π
Rubber bands last longer when refrigerated.
Really? I can just see someone putting that in a story: Guest goes to get something from the fridge and comes back with a handful of rubber bands and a very confused face.
I really should write that
Go for it! I want to read it when you’re done.
No number from one to 999 includes the letter βaβ in its word form.
Curious. I had to think about that.
The Super Soaker was designed and invented by a NASA engineer.
yes I am just going to post random useless facts
But you never know when some seemingly useless fact could come in handy!
Happy Birthday to you and your mom and aunt!! It’s so cool that you all share the same birthday!
Thank you! We think so. π
My birthday is actually tomorrow! I didn’t know ours were so close to together!
Well, Happy Birthday a day early!
I’ve never really thought about how it would be to be a spammer, but it could get sort of interesting if you just kept saying a lot of random thingsπ
True. You either have to be creative or just boring. π
I need to catch up on a few of your latest posts so I’m going to comment over there too!
That’s a good idea!
So much good stuff!! I would love to have Gift from the Storm on audiobook.
Thank you for sharing the sweet story of the birthdays being the same!
You’re welcome, Amy! Thanks for coming and sharing my birthday!
Aww, now I have to get creativeπ§ Think, think, think…
Maybe I should just come out and say Land of Cotton. My creative juice box is empty.
π I imagine coming up with that many comments could be difficult! π
I’ve left twelve comments, but none are showing up for me….π€
Sorry, I had to approve them since you hadn’t commented before. But they should be there now.
Happy birthday, Rebekah!! I hope you have a wonderful birthday! *winks* Be prepared to be spammed!
Thank you, Hannah!
*gets ready for an onslaught of comments*
*wonders if they are like water balloons*
How long does the giveaway last? Is it just today?
It ends Sunday night at midnight.
Ok, great! I’m sending out a newsletter tomorrow, so I’ll share it.
Wonderful!
Thank you for doing this fun giveaway!
You’re welcome! Thanks for helping me celebrate!
There are quite a few new books here, and one book I’ve been wanting for awhile!
Oh, fun!
Happy Birthday, dear Rebekah!! I’ve really enjoyed getting to know you the past few months. I hope you are having a wonderful birthday!! *takes a deep breath* Only 28 more comments to go! π
Thank you, Betsy! π I’ve enjoyed getting to know you as well!
What’s your absolute favorite birthday memory?
I’ll be sharing some favorites on Tuesday when I announce the winners. So come back then. π
I sure will!
What’s the most unique birthday present you’ve ever received?
Hmm, I’m not sure.
Maybe it was having Happy Birthday sung to me (and my mom) by a dozen young men when I was 18? Not sure if that’s a gift though.
ππ
So, I thought of a question earlier today. Not exactly birthday related, but in a way it is. How old were you when you published your first book?
Let’s see *goes to figure out the math* I was almost 28. I was first published in March of 2011.
What are you having for your birthday dessert?
Today it’s double chocolate cake. But since we have two birthdays, my sis is making an cookies ‘n cream cake next week. And we’ll probably have ice cream tomorrow with my aunt and grandpa.
Mmm! It all sounds good!
Happy Birthday, Rebekah!! I hope your day is extra special and filled with God’s blessings! Thank you so much for putting together this fun giveaway. That’s so cool you share a birthday with your mom and aunt. I share a birthday with my nephew! It’s so much fun.
Thank you!
Oh, how fun! None of my nieces or nephews have April birthdays, but my sis-in-law’s birthday is on Monday. π
Ooo, then Happy Birthday to her too!
π
Do you have the same dessert every year, or do you vary them?
We vary. Sometimes it’s chocolate cream pie.
How many comments do you have to get to break your record?
I have no idea, but I think I’ve already broken the record. π
Ok, now I’ll stop asking questions!
π
Wonders how many comments I’ve left…
*Goes to count*
Happy Birthday, Rebekah,
Thanks. π
Only 12?
May you have a special day.
Oh right, I almost forgot I needed to submit a comment for each one Lol.
Yeah, think of the comments as currency for the giveaways. π
And, may your year ahead,
That means I still have a bunch more to leave…
Hehe! π Have fun!
Be blessed in every way!
I love it! Thanks, Bets! Very creative. π
I guess you had to trace the poem through the comments. π
That was fun. π
I’m glad you liked it! π
*Whistles Happy Birthday for Rebekah*
π
Some of your books, I’m entering for the audio, even though I have the book. It would be fun to be able to listen to them too!
Yes, I like books in audio even if I have them in book form.
Now that I’ve read books one and two of TCR, I’d like to hear the audio soon.
Audio is great for trips or dishes, or handwork. π
It’s almost like I’m talking to you in the tent, except I’m talking, and you aren’t. π
Yeah, if I’d been on just a bit ago, we could have really talked.
Oh, I’ve loved reading through the comments on here!! π
It’s pretty fun, isn’t it, Lyds? π π
Okay, how about some birthday trivia.
Okay.
It’s almost like reading a camp convo; P
Haha!
Starts running out of things to say. I guess I need to think harder!
You can always find an older post to comment on.
The most common birth date in the US, excluding leap years, is May 22.
That is interesting. I wonder why.
Oh, while we’re busy spamming, do you have any going OUT OUT shoes, Auntie?;P π€£
No, I don’t. I’m still trying to figure out what Out OUT shoes are! Can you tell me? π
You don’t?? π± We’d all better get funds together and buy you a pair as a birthday present, with quick dry beach shoes as a bonus! π It’s obviously so very important to have… π€£
I have no ideaπ But my sister and I still laugh about that comment π€£
I know, very important and I don’t have any! I have a question. Do the quick dry beach shoes come with the beach and water?
π€£π€£π€£
You are the best auntie ever!! π€π€π€π€π€
Aw!!!!! *hugs* <3
Uhhh…that was not meant as a reply to thatπ€¦π
Oh, well! It was still sweet. π
I guess this means you can write it again as a reply to the right one and have another comment. π
*hugs*
Ooh, so I canπ
It is believed that the first birthday cake came from Germany.
Sounds right.
Aren’t they fun, Lydia? It is a lot like camp! This was a great idea, Rebekah! It’s actually kind of fun being a spammer. I guess we’d better not get used to it though.
You all make me laugh. π I’m delighted to know you are enjoying your “spamming.” π
In the US around two billion birthday cards are given or sent every year.
WOW!
A famous birthday present on the 21st birthday, between the 19th-20th century, was to get all your teeth replaced with dentures to avoid dental treatments in future.
Um, . . um, . . . I’m glad I didn’t get THAT present!
I’m up to 20! That means only eight more to go!
π Have fun!
I’ve loved reading the comments too, Lydia!!
That’s really neat how many birthdays your family has so close together, Rebekah!
Yeah, it’s fun. And one cousin shares my sis-in-law’s birthday, another cousin was 45 minutes away from sharing my birthday, another cousin and her husband both have April birthdays as does another aunt and my grandpa. And that’s just on my mom’s side.
Wow!
Yeah.
My brother’s and my birthday are eleven days apart. He’s 11 years and 11 days older than me!
Fun!
And I’m running out of things to say…
Oh, I just remembered one thing I can say!
When will Don be published? *winks*
I SECOND THATπ€£
Pray I get motivated! π
Good question. I’m not sure. I need to get back to writing now that I’ve edited and changed the things I needed to change.
Only one more to go!
There! That’s the last one! Happy Birthday one last time, Rebekah!!!!
You did it! Thank you, Hannah!!!
(slow) Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaapppppppppppy
(super fast) birthdaytoyou, happybirthdaytoyou,
(slow) haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaapppppppppppyyyyy biiiiiiiiirthdaaaaaay Rebeeeeeeeekaaaaaaah…….
(super fast) happybirthdaytoyou!
And many more, on Channel 4, and Scooby Doo, on Channel 2……………
This is your birthday song, it isn’t very long!
(this is most definitely not a Christmas song)
Happy birthday, may your every wish come truuuuuue!
Happy birthday, happy birthday, while the birthday cake still sits there, grab a slice before… it’s gooooooone!
I already ate a slice, so don’t worry. π
*bursts into laughter*
HeHe!!
Wow! That was quite the song! Thanks, Bree. π
No problem! π
π
Melanie tucked the blanket closer around her chin and hugged her new teddy bear even closer. It had been a wonderful birthday.
Aw! I love it!
As she thought about it, a smile crept across her face, growing bigger the more she remembered.
First, she had woke up to her dad smiling down on her, saying βHappy Birthday, Princess.β He had pulled her out of the covers and wrapped her in a big hug.
Then, she had gone into the kitchen where Mom was frying pancakes: her favorite! There were even blueberry pancakes.
Mom held the spatula out in one hand and pulled Melanie into a hug with the other.
So sweet!
After they finished eating the pancakes, soaked with melting butter and golden maple syrup, the doorbell had rang.
Melanie rushed to answer the door.
Standing at the door was a box taller than Melanie. She couldnβt see anyone around.
Cautiously, she stepped out and peered around the box.
Uncle Trent jumped up from where he was crouched and gave Melanie a hug. βHappy Birthday, Mel! I hope you like the little present I bought you.β
βLittle?β Melanie shrieked. βIβm glad you didnβt bring a big one!β
It took a lot of work to get the box opened and the present unpacked.
It was a playhouse, and her dad and Uncle Trent helped her to set it up in the back yard.
For lunch, they had pizza and root beer floats, her very favorite meal, and perfect for her summertime birthday.
Then her parents gave her their presents: the new teddy bear, a beautiful tea set with roses on it, and a doll buggy
Melanie sighed deeply. βThis has been the best birthday ever.β She thanked the Lord for giving her a loving family and special day.
Happy Birthday again, Auntie Bekah! I hope you enjoyed the story written special just for your birthday!
Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. Psalm 37:4-5
I loved that sweet story, Bets! Very creative and fun! Thank you! *hugs*
You’re very welcome! *hugs*
*sends hugs all round because this feels just like camp*π€π€π€ Thanks for being our auntie, Auntie!!
I didn’t know this would feel like camp, but yay! π
ππ€
It does! *hugs*
I’ve been enjoying commenting on here and getting the chance to spam, but the fact is I don’t even need all these comments because I didn’t enter this many giveaways π Hmm… If comments are a new currency, does that mean I can trade them with someone else, and sell them at a profit? ππ
You just made me laugh out lough, Lyds! *wonders if Lyds can figure out a way to trade her comments or sell them*

And yet you’re commenting like you trying to earn more comment-currency! LOL I love it.
CutePolarBear
And I’ve read 17π
Wow, I had to scroll to the bottom just to comment again. Quite the adventureπ I love all the creativity and laughs and fun here, it’s like a big online KDWC party. You are amazing Rebekah and this ended up being so much fun. Here’s to another blessed year!
I’m sure all together it was quite interesting to read. π
Aw, thanks, Cat! *hugs*
Oh my, when I got on here and saw how many comments there were, I gave a sort of audible gasp!! I don’t think I’ve ever seen this many comments on a blog post ever!
I know! This is way more than I’ve ever had before! π
But “spamming” does sound like alot of fun!! π
π
And this does feel like camp!!
Funny how so many of you are saying it feels like camp. I had no intention of that when I started this. π
And that story at the beginning was really sweet somehow! I enjoyed reading it! <3
I agree!
I do have a question though…. For the giveaways for authors other than you, are we supposed to comment on one of their posts, this post, or does it matter? π
It really doesn’t matter. You can comment over there, or on this post, or on another post on this blog.
And Happy Birthday, Auntie Rebekah!!!!! *is starting to feel almost guilty for “spamming” and is having to remind myself that you asked for it….*
Thanks, CeeCee! *hugs*
Don’t feel too bad. I did ask for it. π
Happy birthday (a little late!)… This is a lovely idea to celebrate (: And how special that you share a birthday with your mom and aunt.
Thank you, Libby!
I think so too! π
I hope you had a blessed birthday, Rebekah!
Thank you, Hannah!
*gasps* I am SO glad I found these giveaways!!! Happy birthday, Rebekah, and thanks so much for hosting all of these! π
Thanks, Grace! I’m glad you found them too! Have fun! π
Of course! I know I will! π
Wow, what a lot of comments!
I know! Crazy, isn’t it? π
Nice birthday story! Do you usually have a big birthday party together?
Sometimes we do, but not as often as we used to.
Happy birthday!
Thank you!
Happy Birthday to you!! My Mom and grandmother share a birthday, too. My sister missed sharing theirs by three days!!
Thanks, Kaitlyn!
Oh, that’s neat that your mom and grandmother get to share a birthday! I feel sorry for your sister. π My oldest nephew was born the day before his dad’s birthday. We were rather hoping my brother would have a birthday buddy with his son, but oh well.
Okay, let’s see what I can come up with to say…. *taps chin thoughtfully* π
Have fun. π
Ain’t it funny how you can normally come up with plenty to say, but then when you’re actually faced with the need to say something, you have to think and think?
Is that so we don’t talk too much?
I could give some of the reasons this feels like camp! *clears throat*
Well, for one, many of the people commenting here are girls from camp. π
π
Two, the happy excitement is much like the atmosphere of camp.
π
Three, the fact that so many messages are here feels like camp, haha.
Ha!
Four, it’s about books, which I suppose is similar to camp. π
True
Five, my laptop is slower with this page, like it is with camp, so it reminds me of camp, lol. I don’t know that that’s a factor of it feeling like camp for others though…
The only difference is that I have to read all the comments here and I don’t at camp. π
And I can’t think of too many other reasons… Maybe one will come to me later. π
Which birthday was your favorite birthday? π
I’ll be sharing a few of my favorites or most memorable ones on Tuesday when I announce the winners.
And why was it your favorite birthday? π
The Battle of Bunker Hill was not actually fought on Bunker Hill.
btw Happy Birthday! Hope your day was blessed!
Thank you! It was a good day.
Shared it with my all-girls writing group!
Thanks! π
Flamingos can only eat with their heads upside down
I did not know that.
When did you decide to start writing?
Not until I had graduated from high school.
Wow! I hope I can get one of your books from the giveaway!
Even if I don’t win, I might just buy one to give it a shot.

Montpelier, Vermont, is the only U.S. capital without a McDonaldβs
Well! I guess if you really like to eat at McDonald’s, don’t move to Montpelier, VT.

A group of hippos is called a bloat.
Pogonophobia is the fear of beards.

Every time you lick a stamp, you consume one-tenth of a calorie.
Maybe that’s why they invented stamps you don’t have to lick. π
Perhaps!
So I think I’m going to stop for rn
Sounds good.
There’s also no historical proof that Paul Revere ever said “The British are coming.”
Maybe he said, “Them red-coated soldier boys is headin’ yer way!”
Oooh!! I’d sure like to think so!! I hadn’t thought of him saying it that way before, but *imagines it* I think I’m from now on gonna prefer to imagine it that way! π
π
Wow, that was alot of fun facts! *wonders when y’all learned all these* Especially about licking a stamp and consuming a tenth of a calorie. That’s interesting.
the internet! I bookmarked a site! π
Let’s see… On average kids under four ask an average of 73 questions per day.
How else are they going to learn things?
According to the internet anyway. And 40% of what the internet says is fake, also according to the internet. (I kinda doubt that one…)
Capβn Crunchβs full name is Captain Horatio Magellan Crunch.
Not sure I’ll ever need to know that, but thanks. *ponders all the trivia this world is filled with and decides I really need to go read a book*

Finland has the most metal bands per capita.
According to research, fans of classical music and those who love heavy metal have been shown to have similar personalities.
Shocking!
I’m not sure I believe that.
Me neither…

Metallica (whoever that is) is the only band to have played on all seven continents. (Yes, including Antarctica.)

I’m jut wondering how they GOT there
Good point. Do they have cruises to Antarctica?

The two highest IQ scores in history both belonged to women. (HA! Those schoolyard rhymes are true!)

Many oranges are actually green. WE’VE BEEN LIED TO!
Playing dance music can help ward off mosquitoes. *turns Spotify playlist the max volume*
Does it specify what type of dance music? Because there’s the ballet music, waltzes, polkas, folk music. I guess you could almost say any music with a triple count is music you can dance to.
Sadly it does not! π
Oh well.

And I love the story about how you all share birthdays!! My brother and his wife share a birthday π
Oh, that’s neat!
Did you get any book presents to help celebrate? (This feels really awkward spamming your blog!) π π
(I did ask for it.) No, but I got some colored pencils I wanted. Now I just need to go color.
Happy Birthday! You must have been the best birthday present for your mum, Rebekah!
Thank you! Yes, she’s told me I was. π
I don’t think I’ve seen so many giveaways in one place before!! π π
Me either! π
Haha! I just got told by your blog that I was commenting too quickly and to slow down!! π Now I really feel like a spammer!!
You aren’t the only one who was told that. π I guess WordPress didn’t get the memo that I was having a party!
Just entered for Angieβs βwinners choiceβ – thatβs a fun idea! Thanks for doing so many giveaways.

Yes, audios can be great for listening to while you travel or work on other projects.
What a unique birthday story! I hope you, your mom, and your aunt all had an amazing birthday! π
Thank you! π
I already have many of these books, so I’m just entering giveaways for the ones I don’t have. π
That sounds wise. I’m glad there were some you didn’t have.

Join the rest of the crowd! π
That’s all from me! π
π
Haha! You were right about being creative with my comments. I’m starting to run out of ideas on what to comment about. I’ll have to read some of your older posts that I missed and comment on them. π
That sounds like a good idea. π
Happy birthday, (kinda late π) Auntie Rebekah!!π₯³π₯³π₯³
I don’t think I have time to enter them all tonight…π€π when’s the deadline for entering? ππ *thinks it’s probably right in front of me but I missed it* ππ
