Hey, look! I got tagged! This is going to be interesting since I’ve never done a tag like this before. Are you ready to learn a bit more about some of the characters in my books? Then let’s get busy.
RULES
Rule 1: Thank the lovely blogger who tagged you. (Thanks, Kate! π ) β
Rule 2: Include this link to the original tag (phoebeamorryce.wordpress.com/2018/10/15/voted-most-likely) β
Rule 3: Use your own lovely Original Characters (OCβs); donβt use a friendβs characters or characters from your favorite fandom. They can be from any project, so long as you created them. For more fun, try to use as many different characters as possible. β
Rule 4: Tag at least five lovely blogger friends to play along. β
Since I have SO many stories, I’ve decided to put a few limits on this tag. I’m not going to be using any short story, and I’m not going to be using my TCR series. Oh, and I’m not going to do any story that isn’t published! Let’s see how this goes. Ready?
Most Likely to Become a Poet
I don’t know. Perhaps Maria (Home Fires of the Great War) since she plays the violin and some of her descriptions are a bit poetic. But I can’t really see her becoming a poet. And I really can’t think of anyone else who might become one either.
Most Likely to Dance in the Rain
Gina! (Finding Joy) She’s be delighted to dance in the rain. And she’d love it if you came out and joined her! It’s just so much fun to be outside in the rain, as long as it isn’t storming. Do you have a raincoat? What about rain boots? Of would you rather go barefoot? Gina will do it either way. You did say you would join her, didn’t you?
Most Likely to Look Good in a Kilt
This one is easy! Mr. McLean, Alan and David (from Home Fires of the Great War) because they are all Scottish, Alan plays the bagpipes, and they all wear kilts on special occasions.
Most Likely to Get Punched in the Face
I’d have to say Ty (The Unexpected Request) because he did get punched in the face. Well, sort of. But he gave better than he got, so it’s okay. I guess my characters just aren’t that type. Well, except the bad guys. Any of them could, and some did, get punched in the face.
Most Likely to Drop Everything and Become a Sheep Herder
While Gina (Finding Joy) would love the sheep, she’d hate the solitude and need someone to talk to. I’d have to say Adam (Gift from the Storm) would probably be the most likely to become a sheep herder. He does enjoy nature, and his dog could be with him.
Most Likely Found in a Library
It would totally be Dylan (Dylan’s Story) and Lissa (Through the Tunnel) who would be the most likely to be found in a library. Lissa would want a quiet corner where no one would notice her, and Dylan would be content to sit anywhere and read if he didn’t have to keep Fern happy.
Most Likely to Sleep Through an Earthquake
I had to think on this one. Since none of my characters really live in earthquake country it was a bit of a challenge. But after due consideration, I’d have to say that Ty (The Unexpected Request) would be the most likely. He might wake up briefly to make sure it wasn’t “them” or a wild animal, but he’d go right back to sleep. Unless his sister was in danger.
Most Likely to Steal Food from Other Peopleβs Plates
Probably Kade and Rome (Hymns in the Hills). What can I say? They are young, growing, hungry boys. And they probably weren’t taught not to. But Belle’s working on them. π
Most Likely to Cheat on a Test
After due consideration it is my belief that Fern (Dylan’s Story) would be the most likely. And if she was caught she’d pout, and cry, and tell you that it wasn’t fair.
Most Likely to Say βOopsβ After Setting Something on Fire
Georgie and Vincent (Home Fires of the Great War) could easily set something on fire without really meaning to, and then they’d probably look at it and say, “Oops!” I’m not sure if they’d go get someone then or just watch it burn until someone else arrived to put it out.
Most Likely to Open an Orphanage
I could see Amelia (His Law is Love) doing this! She’d probably just start gathering the orphans and then have to figure out a place to house them. But I think she’d get help. π
Most Likely to Run Off to the Circus
Ted, Fred, Larry, and Jim (Home Fires) would totally do this. They are always up to something and this would just be another thing to do. It would probably be Ted’s idea. Or maybe Fred’s. But Jim and Larry would be more than happy to go along with their older brothers into whatever adventure awaited them.
Kade Russum (Hymns in the Hills) would go in an instant (if he knew what a circus was) since he’s always ready for an adventure. He’d probably persuade his brother Rome, and possibly his cousins Sid and Pete to join him. But I doubt they’d actually make it before Ez and Zeke found them and brought them home again.
Most Likely to Be Needed in a War
I could pick several for this one. Dr. Justin Morgan (Gift from the Storm) and Dr. Fredrick Foster (Home Fires of the Great War) would be wanted because they are doctors. Dr. Foster’s daughter, Maria, would be a great help in the hospitals as a nurse if they would take her. But if the war was going on, they’d also call for Lt. Ashwood to return to his ship (The Graham Quartet and the Mystery of the Day Maid), and Scott Wood (Dylan’s Story) would get called in from the reserves. Wow! I didn’t know so many of my characters would be needed.
Most Likely to Fake Their Own Death
Guy Fox (Graham Quartet and the Mysterious Strangers) would because of his job. He’d be good at it too. There would probably be a funeral and everything.
So, there you have it. I’m going to say that if you are reading this post, if you write, and if you have a blog, you are tagged. π And, if you don’t have a blog, but write, you are welcome to answer these questions in a comment. I’d love to know about your characters!
Have you read all of these books? Would you agree with who I picked? Can you think of others that might fit? If so, please share!

This was a fun tag! They’re creative questions, and really make you think. π
Oh no, I didn’t realize you had a 2019 reading challenge! Is it too late to join and add all the books I’ve read this year? (That does sound a little like cheating, though …)

If it had been the beginning of the month or even the middle I would have said yes, but since there’s only 5 days, I probably should say it’s too late. π But I’m going to be trying to do a new Reading Challenge at the beginning of every year, so stay tuned.
CutePolarBear says
Oh, okay! I’ll try to keep that in mind.
