Several people have asked me how I make the pdf copies of my books have covers on them.
At first I was doing it the hard way, but since I started, I discovered a very easy and simple way to do it. And it looks as professional as those books you might get from a best selling author.
All you really need are three things:
Your book cover in pdf form
Your book interior in pdf form
You have those? All right, now you’re set. So let’s get started.
Head over to the To ePub website . . . It will look like this.
Now click on the “combine PDF” tab. (circle in the next picture.) It will then tell you to upload files.
In the picture above you can see the blue button that says upload files. You will want to upload your cover image first, and then the interior, or your cover will be at the back of the book.
Once them are uploaded, you are going to click the button under your files that says “Combine.” Wait until it has finished, and then simply download your newly combined file onto your computer.
Congratulations! You are now ready to send pdf copies of your book to test readers, giveaway winners, or reviewers. A pdf copy can be read on a computer, a kindle, a phone, and many other places.
I hope this was helpful. Are you planing on turning some of your books into quick pdf’s with covers? I’d love to know what you think of the process. Do you like reading pdf books that have covers or does it matter to you?
