I know some of you have been eagerly awaiting the cover release of my newest book “Through the Tunnel.” You don’t have to wait any longer!
“I hate being a foster kid!” Fourteen-year-old Lissa had thought those words dozens, if not hundreds, of times over the last twelve years. She and her twin brother, Leigh, had been foster kids for as long as they could remember. Naturally shy, this life of bouncing around from one foster home to another, of changing schools mid-term, and of never having a real place they could call home had left Lissa with feelings of insecurity and doubt. Would they ever have a real home? Why didn’t anyone want them? Then one cold, winter afternoon, Lissa persuades her brother to make believe that a tunnel under a snow covered bridge is the entrance to a new world and a new life; together they walk through it, and it changes their lives forever.
I’m not sure just when the book will be published, but I think I can safely tell you that you can add the book to your Christmas wish list. 🙂 Right now my first test readers have the book. Next I have to make corrections, finalize chapter titles, and finish the interior layout before I can order my proof copy. Once that has been read, it will be time for a final round of corrections and then . . . Yes, I will let you know as soon as the book is available in paperback and in kindle form.
If you want to read the start of the book, visit my Friday Blog on Friday!
Right now I’m toying with the idea of a sequel, but haven’t had time to really think about it much yet. I’ll let you know.
What do you think of the cover? Does this sound like a book you would like to read? If you want to share about this on your own blog, let me know and I’ll send you the cover file and the synopsis or you can just copy it from this post.
